I like the way Balthazar had a reputation in The Underworld as one of the most fearsome Demons ever to exist and this Scene JUST proved it.
Yeah, he was the only one that actually shot without wasting time when he saw an opportunity. The only enemy demon that does that is Shax but he didn't seem really intelligent to me, more like a tornado that just blows everything away. The quake announcer would comment this scene simply with: MULTIKILL!^^

I also like the episode where he faces that other Demon that looks EXACTLY like him (except he was black with red markings) and that other season where he has that evil organization The Brotherhood that he answers to.
What confused me about this series was the lack of consistency with how demons killed were at times. Guns most of the time could never kill them but for some reason Cole stabs and breaks the necks of one of the Triad. I thought being some of the more powerful demons the Triad would not succumb to just having a broken neck. A few demons were also decapitated by Cole, Paige orbed a power line into a demon killing it, and one was impaled by a pipe only to explode.

My favorite Cole scene is when he first got vanquished and was in the demon realm and the worms feed off the demonic energy and Cole accidentally get's some of that energy and kills off the worm and fed off of incoming demonic power's til he had enough to escape just in time to save phoebe in the baddest ass way !
Cole is a powerful demon i won't argue that but he didn't destroy the triad completely because their spirits lived on until they was resurrected. The triad has the ability to resurrect themselves if their bodies are destroyed. The only ones that can truly vanquish the triad is source, the charmed ones, or the hollow.
Well, these guys never learn. Never mess with super demon Cole/Belthazor. He's also a powerful upper level demon, and not someone to be messed with. Hadn't he fallen in love with Phoebe, the Charmed Ones would have falled dead at his feet
The Source is a kind of spirit. The half face demon wasn't always the source, but the essence of the source is the same. And still, half faced Source came back in S8 briefly.
This is one of the reasons why cole is just a beast if he didnt love phoebe everyone knows the charmed ones would have been killed long ago even if they found paige and I'm still pissed how they handled his storyline man stuck in a void to see the sisters and phoebe with their husbands thats some cruel punishment and I've never felt coop and phoebe had a real connection it felt too fake and rushed but no matter this is one of the reasons why cole has been the source and the avatar
The Triad is a collective(Charmedverse term), i.e., their powers are connected to each other and depend on their numbers. One dies, the group magic weakens. Same with the Avatars. So when Cole killed one, the others weakened, but DID NOT lose their powers. Cole was strong enough to take them out.
No he was only powerful enough to destroy their bodies, not their spirits. The triad was the most powerful group of demons second only to the source. They Resurrected themselves 6 years later.
@bomblast2000 actually The Source had Benjamin Turner's soul hidden away just in case Cole's human half every gained it's freedom, after that happened Balthazar's old mentor Raynor, leader of the Brotherhood of the Thorn, was given Ben's soul to use as leverage against Cole so that Raynor and the other Brotherhood members could make Balthazar the dominate half again.
Poor Cole 😢 he was taken by his mother against his own will. He was also seen crying and traumatized by his father being murdered in front of his eyes. Cole loved and cared for his father, where the Source and other demons knew this about his human half. I wouldn’t be surprised if they threatened Cole about destroying his father’s soul if he didn’t follow orders from his superiors.

And the in the end, Cole's Soul wouldn't be stuck in the void between Heaven/Hell for the rest of Time, or until he "Redeems" himself or lands a major sin while still practically a ghost.

Every time I watch this, I wonder why cole even bother following the triad. He was clearly much more powerful then them, and he was not even in his demon form. He could of killed them long ago and been done with it.

He basically just made a very powerful enemy and made the entire underworld put a bounty on his head while he doesnt have good protecting him and probably never will.
Cole wasn't powerful enough at the time he was hired to kill the charmed ones. He was formidable but lacked the power to challenge the triad directly. This scene in particular just shows him weakening their collective power he didn't really destroy their spirits he just destroyed their bodies.
One of Cole's most interesting abilities is "Blind Fury". First with the triad and then when he nearly kills the Source, there are moments when he's so done with his enemies that he's just like: " Ok, fuck this shit, I'm about to end your fucking life"

Actually, the smartest and most practical. Yeah, really. Zankou was almost as powerful as the Source, but that's a different thing(the source was unable to destroy him, only seal him away). Instead of getting the Power of Three and the Ultimate Power killing off each other with an absurdly long plan with a lot of chance of failure(and a lot of foolishness, they could have just frozen and killed both groups. Believe me they can as they freeze time and not molecues. The Triad were complete fools.
It's explained in the last few episodes of the show that when the Triad is killed, they remain alive in spirit form and eventually return to physical bodies. Only by being killed while in spirit form will they be gone forever. In the final episode we see the Charmed Ones vanquish the Triad's spirits with potions.

Charmed was so much better the first 3 seasons. They killed Prue, screwed up Cole`s and Phoebe`s love story, made The Source incredibly lame and Piper incredibly annoying. I was done with the show right after they made Cole the main monster.
