Cole is probably the most powerful of all. With an ultra energy ball like that it could decimate an entire troop of demons with ease. It's also the largest strongest energy ball ever I've seen in Charmed.

Cole was one of the most powerful upper level demons. Even then it usually takes the power of three to kill an upper level demon. While an upper level demon can swat away most witches with no issue. It would make sense since they're usually meant to do things alone or in groups of two at best while witches usually have three or more.

@@SeraphSeph right. That is why the Source had certain demons banished. He probably was afraid they would betray him and take over the Underworld(Zanku).
@@egberttheegregious6517 piper is a charmed one, even then it either didn't work on some demons or they just reconstituted themselves. The power of three was more powerful than most covens even with just a few months of experience. Even then come could killed one or two of them a couple ofntimes but chose not to.
@@socialmedianotfunanymore people really underestimate the demons in the show just because we see them get blown up by the charmed ones. I'd hate being in a world without charmed ones to stop zanku, shax, etc

I loved Cole. I think his story line was the best on the show. I'm sure if he didn't leave, him and Phoebe would have eventually gotten back together.
Cole is treathenend so bitchie... He gives up everything for phoebe, he saves them over and over again, sacrifieces his life again. And again, all to saves Phoebe, and as a reward he gets to be stuck forever in some wierd space
Leo laying there all helpless , putting his faith in Cole for once , cole saved them many times and the writers ended up writing Alyssa character to be a bitch !
Yeah, but it was due to Julian McMahon leaving the series. The creators had other plans for Cole, but Julian announced in advance that he was leaving, so at least they somehow ended his character.

@@lowkey621 I wouldn't say it went downhill. I actually like Cole after The Demonic Wasteland more than Cole as Source. But Cole as Belthazor was best (and I didn't much like Cole as a human - without power).
@@niketesambrosiosdelagrece2266 Cole as a character was good throughout. But as a series, the way they treated him post wasteland made no sense. As the source I could understand why they killed him, and you see the pain and regret in Phoebe. But aster that they abondoned him there, blamed him for being the source, even though they would be dead if he didn’t. When the powers were taken from him, they got him to take the powers back and then blamed him again. Also Coke always blaming himself when he had no choice in becoming the source just seemed contrived to convince us the charmed ones were right, even though they tried killing multiple times while going back to him to save them at the same time. The charmed ones were full on hypocrites and it made the show distasteful to watch. The only saving grace was Julian was such a good acter, and even with a lousy script, crazy Cole was hilarious, tragic, engaging at the same time. I didn’t regularly watch after he left, just in and off, and the show seemed crap by then.

I totally stopped watching Charmed after he died. They did my dude Cole wrong on so many levels. All he did was try to help him with his demonic powers and they turned their back on him like it was nothing. Julian McMahon was a spectacular actor as well because when he told Phoebe that he loved her I absolutely believe him and knew he would never do anything to hurt her. The right is completely screwed up his character. For me the series ends when he turns human and they live happily ever after

The writers really did the character dirty, but the joke's on them because they were never able to find a second male lead that had as much impact on the show as Cole did

Cole should've never become fully human imo. Not that I didn't enjoy those few episodes when he was. He's Cole, *WITHOUT* the unwanted possesion by you wish you didn't know who! I've been rewatching the first part of S4 recently and it still makes me maaaaaad the way they treated Cole. He had soooooo muuuuuuch potential, and his relationship with Phoebe was so deep and beautiful, but tptb just completely overlooked all of that and went for the "bigger storyline". XXXXXXXXX WRONG.

No, Paige accepted him too, it was until he became the Source and commiyted acts of evil that they weren't willing to understand it anymore.
that's not exactly how it happened. It was right after they vanquished the original source is when her suspension started. It amplified on the episode of Phoebe's & Cole's wedding.

Cole fought until the very end and give it everything he had. First Cole should've taken the Oracle out with an energy ball and then continued his assault. Hell he even created the damn Spirit Bomb and was about to kill the one responsible for Prue's death. Wish this version of The Source made more appearances on Charmed, before getting vanquished in the episode Charmed and Dangerous. The Oracle was cute, too bad she got killed hehe.
Cole did all that and so much more and the sisters still shit on him later for things he couldn't control, like taking in the hollow (and becoming the source unwillingly) to save Phoebe.
But the most interesting thing about this is that the show writers apparently did that on purpose. Cole's behavior is quite psychology textbook for what they did to him, so they must have written all this in full knowing that it was extremely flawed behavior on the sisters' part. It was a combination of self-fullfilling prophecy and other things like making him see that there is no hope but then come back with false hope (mermaid episode).
In general, unless you were Wyatt or Chris, if you were a male on the show, you were treated like shit 😂.

@youngkmowledgeseeker white lighters actually have different powers. Leo shows this in the beginning of the series, he’s spotted levitating, fixing a lightbulb or something with his magic, making him telekinetic, the same power Paige has but hers is in a different way.
Feel when Cole lost his demonic half he was born with, that set him up on a path for failure. Don't care what anyone says. Baltizar help him resist the pull of the source. He was one of the most powerful in the world. The man could break through magical Shields that other demons couldn't

I remember this. Cole really was a good guy. I didn't like it when he became evil again, the second time. The first time when he became the source was cool but the second time when he was invinceable and he tryed to get Phobe at first then he just became crazy I didn't like.

The Oracle knew that was the Source, as did Cole and Leo. In the first few appearances, the Source didn't have a regular actor yet, so they often changed his appearance.

Kelly Marie not really. If anything they highlight that the world ISN'T black and white. Good beings can become corrupted just as easily as Evil beings can. And it's typically just as rare. Leo briefly became corrupted when he killed another elder, however, it was the love of his family that brought him back. Cole wasn't loved by any of the family. Piper resented him for stealing phoebe from her, Paige hated him from the get go, and Phoebe loved him the best way she could. Piper loved Leo despite the rules and risked everything for him and continues to do so to her dying breath. Phoebe always had reservations after finding out about him being a demon, his pull both excited and scared her and even she stated that Cole being human scared her because with Cole being human she had to be an adult in the relationship. It doesn't make them bad people for being mistrustful of a demon. If anything this is one of the biggest lessons the charmed ones learn - when to stop helping.
In the french version, the blood was censored so you don't see the source getting up and transforming. You see him directly standing up after cole hurted him.

One of Cole's most interesting abilities is "Blind Fury". First with the triad and then with the Source there are moments when he's so done with his enemies that he's just like: " Ok, fuck this shit, I'm about to end your fucking life"

That is the Source. He shapeshifted into the chameleon demon to trick the CO's and that plan worked. He captured Piper that way.

I never did understand some things here,why does The Source wear that thing on his head,i mean why nobody never sees his face? Also,as it was mentioned when The Source was killed,Cole came to power as "The New Source",but after he was killed,in the next 4 seasons we never saw A Source again,only upper-level demons.
***** Actually all they needed was the Grimoire, the council as you call it (leaders of the underworld) could have been replaced by other upper level demons as seen when Barbas gets Cole powers and mentioned in that episode when the Charmed ones dreams come to life.
He hides his face because he only has half a face from the battle that brought him to power. You see his face in the episode with the Hollow.
1) the battle that brought him to power, 2) It was more mysterious to never see his face, literally just the source of all evil also the source is an actual energy not just person so the black figure could be representing his true nature

She stopped him from killing the source because his death creates a black void of evil. That void would then go into the person who killed him, making Cole "The Source" once again. She was trying to spare him of that life of agony and the lifelong enmity that exists between the Charmed ones and the Source. .

Even though the sisters where hot Cole was hands down my favorite character in Charmed. Charmed started heading south when Paige died her hair red. The storylines werent very good and i have never seen the final season.
So he killed the cd ( Chamloen Demon ) and the seer ( the not that much demonic and not black seer) because she didnt know the Chameolan demon is the source and she wanted to save the Chameolandemon/source???!!
Although I'm sure the "Reboot " will have all types of Boring and Handsome men !! There will only be One "Cole" a well written character that had to be cut waaay too soon !!😵
