This a great idea. I can put my pet fish in there and swim with them, or just look at each other from the glass pane.
Want to get one for our family. The one I was looking at them would have cost $42,000. I’m good, we can get a LOCAL company to install a pool for less or even that.

In today's world there are so many coatings !... One such is RinoLiner ....The inside has to be coated with a water sealant such as as plaster or a coating of the same !..caliber !.. The outside under the ground black Tar and thick roofing paper !.

Here’s a video on how to build a truck you buy from a dealership... why does everyone think using a shipping container is “eco friendly”. You repurposed something it’s not like an above ground pool with recycled aluminum framing and recycled plastic liner is just as eco friendly relatively. almost all materials now days use recycled content. I build tables from pallet wood so here’s my “eco friendly” night stand... haha.

You could build an entire ecosystem in there. That project probably goes into the 100ks tho. And you'd need to hire someone who designs aquariums for zoos and such. But definitely a cool concept. Provided you live somewhere that winter isn't a factor 🤣

It's $10,000 per foot. So the 30ft pool is $30k, and the 40ft container is $40k. Of course the containers can be purchases for a few grand if you really want to BUILD your own.

And nothing about if they got rid of all the toxic chemicals in the shipping container to withstand sea travel.
The container is treated and sandblasted, then recoated with a fibreglass resin. It's pretty safe, you know.

Great idea but it’s more than twice as expensive as it should be considering it’s made from shipping containers that are in abundance and for the most part simply taking up space, and let’s not forget they’re not as aesthetically pleasing as a real swimming pool.
