Nigel and Ayrton, so fast, I saw them race twice in Adelaide. They we're bouncing all four wheels off the ground in the first chicane.two best drivers

That's very respectful of Mansell to admit Senna would've been much harder to overtake if it wasn't for that lapped car. Fabulous drive by NM.

sbaker190189 That Spa move looked great but was pretty easy. (Only memorable move by Hakkinen, apart from some mistakes...) This Mansell move presented itself but Mansell took it like a lion. I guess Senna felt pretty bad...

+Kelvin Almonte One of the best things about Nigel is that he is such a nice person. I've meet him a few times in Montreal when it was much easier to get close to the drivers than it is today, and he was a perfect gentleman with lot's of time for the fans! F1 couldn't ask for a better ambassador that way,...

So much respect for Mansell. Amazing driver. A great business man too. He made a gamble by mortgaging his house to but a F3 car. He always said when he became champion he would retire, which he did. Then he went to america and absolutely smashed them all to pieces. The money he earned from 1992 - 1994 was astronomical ensuring financial security for him and his family. He had his game plan, and has stuck to it. He wasnt the best driver in the world, but is my ultimate hero (and Andy Rouse)

Probably my favourite race out of all Nigel's. I remember watching the first half of the race live on BBC Sunday Granstand and then they switched to golf or cricket for about 2hrs before returning to show the 2nd half of the race (recorded not live) at about 5pm. I so waited with anticipation for the 2nd half to be shown and then had my fingers/toes crossed hoping Nigel's car wouldn't break down - like it usually did. Mansel was such a fighter and such hero!!! This was real F1 - not todays playstation button pushing artificial nonsense.

I never got overly excited when Formula 1 visited the Hungaroring because of the nature of the track there was usually not a whole lot of passing and lead changes. I always enjoyed watching Nigel race however and he also was the last driver who was personally chosen to drive for team Scuderia Ferrari by Enzo Ferrari.

NM was no1 when it came to chasing people down. That was a great drive both aggressive and patient when he had to be. Lovely looking car that Ferrari but the Honda engine could pull away on the straight. Some great battles between Senna and Mansell. A great period for f1, 1984-1992. No question Mansell was as good as anybody given the right car and support.
