I'd like to point out something. Asgore couldn't have killed the humans (aside from frisk) Cuz all the items they had, like the tutu and the frying pan? not a single one of them is in the castle. the closest we get to that is bratty and catty, and they're before mettaton's hotel.
but the bigger issue is, the toy knife is inside the ruins.
which means we know for a fact one of the 6 humans died there, and then their soul somehow got to the castle... Toriel? care to explain?
Toby said most of the humans got killed by asgore, the items location not exactly means they died there.

I mean you can pretty much do that in undertale, if you drop the item it also end up on the floor you just don't see it.

Several details about the reaction : it was good , the characters were almost as natural as portrayed in the game , aside from shady and DIT , those two made me cringe a f*cking lot , but Shady just made the reaction a bit uncomfortable to watch and DIT in true pacifist ending being so arrogant about his power is just... No , its not pleasant to watch a reaction and in the middle of it "Oh I am so strong that I never used more than 0.0000000000000001% of my power" thx , but either nerf the character or cut him out of the reaction entirely , because he is the main reason the reaction is getting worse , that is my only problem with it , other things like designs and behavior are good , good job man
Yeah I agree. DIT is like Bakugou from MHA (kinda) and Shady is the typical Papyrus simp. Don't like their inclusion here. I also hate arrogant people very much , especially those that act like they know everything about everyone and have a superiority complex and look down on others.

Just because this has magic doesn't mean every unexplainable thing can be excused with magic.
Before I start I just want to say that this is very well put together. Very good job.
Several things.
1. To be fair to DIT, the monsters are incredibly stupid in the genocide route save Alphys.
2. With the boss monster vs normal monster health thing. (I know it's an AU thing not set in stone.) Aren't the others just admitting that the boss monsters are being stupid? Like why would any normal monster be essentially on high alert while Undyne, Head of the Royal Guard, wouldn't be? She has every reason to be on high alert given that she would've known about the evacuation.
3. Again being fair to DIT, why didn't Undyne immediately attack the grass where the player character is? Couldn't say "Hey Kid, if that is you announce yourself!"? Undyne is banking the lives of everyone in the underground that on the off chance we were Monster Kid. Hell, why wasn't Undyne escorting Kid?
4. Was hate ever explained in the game or is that a fandom thing? Because hate doesn't really fit the SOUL trait thing.
5. Being fair to the player character, if a monster is attacking you then you have every right to defend yourself. Going full genocide on the other hand and hunting the monsters is a different story.
6. (I very well could be misunderstanding the story. If I am let me know.) Chara saying "you are tainted" is actually extremely hypocritical. Chara is fine with Asriel taking their SOUL, crossing the barrier, and presumably attacking humanity, but I am the tainted one? Chara is basically as "tainted" as the player character if not more.
7. If the Undertale cast (In this AU) knows that they are essentially in a game, then do they think all games are other worlds that we interact with the same way as Undertale? Like take any war game, Call of Duty World at War, for example. Is the action of us the player character stepping into the shoes of Miller and Petrenko seen as "toying" with their world? What about sandbox survival games like Minecraft? Is defending ourselves from the hostile mobs seen as a malicious act? Is me playing Borderlands raising my LV to ungodly levels? (By extention, does this AU exist in our timeline, i.e. World War 2 is a thing, or is it essentially sandboxed?)
Trying to free monsters by killing a six humans is a far more noble goal then genocide an entire race of sentient beings for fun.

If it is about Chara being a hypocrite then I thought they had a complete disdain of humanity leading to Chara allowing themselves to die to give Asriel the power needed to attack humanity. Let's say Asriel does get the souls needed to break the barrier without getting killed, what would come of it? Another war? A complete genocide of all monster kind due to an attack by Asriel? Sure it might've been noble but it would ultimately lead to the extinction of the monsters as revenge. The whole idea is just wishful thinking from the mind of a child. If the monsters win then humanity is either extinct or a very uneasy peace is reached (which is doubtful given that the first war was a decisive human victory with zero human losses as according to the game). Even then humanity could very easily launch another surprise attack and kill all monsters.
I am not saying humanity is justified in what they did in the first war, the game says, "A monster with a human SOUL... A horrible beast with unfathomable power. The humans, afraid of our power, declared war on us. They attacked suddenly, and without mercy." granted this is from the perspective of the monsters; who would want anyone reading that to sympathize with the monsters.
I agree with you that just killing the monsters off for fun is not a good thing look at 5th point. Although, if a monster attacks you first unprovoked (like in the entirety of a Pacifist or Neutral [depending on your actions] run) then you should be able to defend yourself.
@@Insider-GC I was talking about the hypocrite bit yes. The point was that a child making a mistake because of anger and rage at being mistreated by humans and wanted to help their new family to free their entire race is a misguided attempt to fix a problem.
While what the player does in genocide is let's kill all them all to see what happens. More or less, the scale of reasoning.
Also someone had to do something, after all they rely on the core for food and energy. If that breaks, they are toast. Also let's be honest if Asriel is half as powerful as he is on the True Pacifist Route. Humans would back down after a few witness his power.

As for the genocide thing again I generally agree, but that is not what I am talking about when it came to attacking monsters in my first comment. I am talking about actions more or less centered in a neutral run. I guess you can look at "If Undertale was Realistic" to catch more of my meaning if I am failing to make it properly. For instance, if a random monster like a froggit randomly attacks me while I am in the Ruins and I am playing a non-genocide route, am I allowed to defend myself? I didn't use "FIGHT" at any point prior and have been minding my own business trying to leave the Ruins. Is the player character or Frisk allowed to defend themselves?
As for your last point, the core was probably the last thing on either Chara's or Asriel's mind. Chara did what they did for their own reasons and Asriel reluctantly played along. Anyways, if the core dies we just might get a Horrortale variant. That is also another thing, Asriel only got that powerful after absorbing all six human souls and all the other monsters around. He at the beginning would only have one soul and he still got killed (I swear there was a slide about him being attacked with arrows, but for the life of me I cannot find it so I might be miss-remembering.) so I personally do not think that it would end well for Asriel regardless.
Then by extension that raises another question. When did the Human-Monster War even take place? The humans in the intro cutscene have swords, staffs, and plate armor but at the beginning of the game it says it's set in the 2010's. So how long is the gap between the war and now?

If my point about the core is invalid then so is this, Chara and Asriel probably didn't think of this, both are children. Also most of my points are targeting your original point 6 about Chara and branching off from that. I think Chara is justified in judging us, that's my point.

And there is no way she could’ve gotten a new phone unless she legit picked it up off the corner in the lab. Which I don’t think she would do. i know im a year late but its like this the magic of seven humans sealed them so the souls of seven could break it and there could also be a monster who gives prophcys like we see in water fall (i think that's where they are with the angel falling into the underground and freeing everyone) or monsters could just be familler with the spell the humans used or they just researched it and determined how much power was in a human soul and how much the barrier needed to break we see machines can extract determination from the true labs determination extractor so its not unlikely there's devices down there to test the magic output of things

If you think about it everything went bad in undertale because Chara wanted to kill humans in the first place. Think about it, Chara made a plan with Asriel (more like manipulating Asriel) in poisoning herself and killing 6 more humans to break the barrier. Even though Asriel is more of a pacifist, or just doesn't want to harm anyone, unlike Chara. But Chara didn't care and tried to take control of him which ended up in their death, or at least death after they went to the underground first. Then Toriel and Asgore came and saw their death, instantly figuring out it was the human. This would cause Asgore to be angry at the human due to Asriel and Chara's death, waging war again any human that fell to the underground, and Toriel leaving him and heading to ruin all because of grief. All because of Chara's plan and hatred for the human, not even thinking about how Asriel feels about it, or any of the monsters feel about it. The human was in the right to kill Asriel, I mean, all they saw was an adult monster holding a human child who was not moving. They kinda had the right to kill Asriel (who in their eyes due to Asriel looking like an adult since he absorb Chara's soul). So the entire time it was Chara's fault.
I do think Chara went up with the intention to free monsters. Also you wonder what happened to a child that they thought the only solution was to jump down into a mountain and die. I doubt Chara planned to survive the fall but somehow did.
i feel chara had two goal freeing mosters and the end of humanity as i feel chara was going to kill and take 6 humans soul but she/he/they wanted asriel to live, his death was a accident or a consequence of humans act before we speak instinct

I think I know why the Undyne call happens only after a neutral route. I think Flowey tells Papyrus to tell Undyne to call you, and Flowey isn't motivated to do that until after you've completed a neutral route.
