You were right about the barn being used as a dairy farm. Most likely a class C dairy farm. They would have used the electric milkers that were hanging on the wall to milk into a milk can and then tranfer it by hand to the stainless steel tank you put the cow skull on. The milk was then picked up by truck about once a week. Great find!
Another great find. Crazy huge property. Bet the house was a beauty. My take is this property probably served a multi generational family. Very cool, enjoyed it and wasn't bored at all. Thanks again, Hunter.
Hunter you should check the tags on the dog collar!!..kiln is a very awesome find!!..ohhh and that satellite dish!!..lol.and please have face protection on..the skull of the bill head is awesome!..I have to say this is THE best video ive seen yet!! thanx for the adventure thru time!!
It was hard to see stuff because of all the fire damage but I didn't notice any furniture, or remains of furniture I should say. That swing set with Ernie laying looked so sad. It's sad when you see children's things left behind. Those toys were once loved and played with and you wonder if after whatever drove them from their properties do the kids miss those things and cry for them. Wow...that just made me sad. Great video!
Hunter,I enjoyed every minute of this video, goodness me these people had very busy lives , I won't list everything I liked here ,there's too much,so keeping it short ,I thought the property was being used as a dumping ground by other people, the children's play area was sweet they must have had hours of fun there ,more so than the dogs ,in the barn I spotted a fabulous red table with chrome legs,I did say short didn't I??? last thing ,the crunching sound of snow underfoot has got me dashing for the hot chocolate, fabulous!!!!
That mountain dew bottles was from the late 80's most cold drink bottles had them for about 3 years. It did help to keep them a bit cooler. Love the video
The jar of coupons possibly would have shown a date on the coupons. Sad to see a family burned out, and as a crafter, even sadder to see a pottery business being destroyed :( Good video tho! Thank you for it!
that was an awesome explore mate, so many interesting stuff there. I really like the old tractor with the tracks and the hanging light shades among many other cool thing you found there. 👍
Hi hunter, I find these types of video really interesting as you get to see minute by minute instead of jumping around the place. The silver thing hanging on the wall in the barn was suction cups for putting on the udders of the cows for milking. Brilliant, thank you xx
Beginning of video was an old square cast iron heat vent register cover! When I was a kid I headed right to one of those and laid by it until my mom had breakfast ready before school, Thanks for the memories👍
Love the videos. Personally it looks like the fire was set in the house or maybe not. I know I always thought it would be fun to live in a old farm house until I started living in a old farm house;) my house was built in 1874 and is worth more burnt to the ground than standing. But, the memories and life of the house could never be replaced. However, when something breaks or needs replaced it costs sooooo much money.
I just found your channel and subbed . I really enjoyed the explore . I think this kind of stuff is cool , I can dig it ! I could watch for hours . Thanks looking forward to seeing more !
Thanks Hunter. Interesting video. To me, it is just the simple things that you pick and look at that make the whole thing interesting. You can tell I am not a farm girl, I saw the horse jaw bones and thought, "Wow, jurassic park!', until you said definitely horse. 'Til then, I was all in for dinosaurs. 2 Dahs for me.
+Pippie Reed Thank u I hope it was a good interesting. WHT IF IT WAS A dino bone OMG viral !!!!!! ha thanks for the comment and it was fun reading! Thats wht this is all about to provoke thought!
Awesome find, and awesome video, you always do your best to catch everything anyone could possibly want to see in the video. I agree though, you need to weaer a mask of some kind inside the old places and barns you never know what you could be breathing in. Also a pair of motorcycle chaps would help prtect you from the jaggers and thorns. Just keep the great videos coming, and I will keep watching!
nice Mason jars. would love to know the story of this old farm. that kiln alone is worth 2100$ at least-according to their website search!! trying to find out when and how the fire happened. that area is absolutely gorgeous. wonderful longhorn skull!
Pretty cool video. I enjoyed it. Saw a couple of cast iron frypans in the house that probably could have been restored. There were fresh animal tracks as you left the barn with the furniture in it. I am wondering what they were. Then it appeared you thought you heard something in the next structure......maybe you did. It almost looked like cat tracks but were kind of large.
I just watched this video, nice job Hunter. I think you should go back and check out that drawer where you found what looked like a needle (syringe) . I saw what I think is a penny, and some of the newer ones today are worth collecting, that one may be worth some real bucks. I didn't see where the house was dated. Thanks for the entertainment !
I know you filmed this a couple years back, but thought that I hoped you had taken a lot of still photos, because this was a perfect opportunity to show what happened when the family was burnt out. The kids swing set with the toys was like a kick in the gut and I don't know if you noticed or not but that first dog house with the chain and collar still attached looked like the dog had to chew its way out of the collar because it didn't look cut in the film.
Great explore! I had a horse and the things that appeared to be handcuffs on the fence was the ends of a saddle girth. The old bath tubs were used for watering troughs for the horses. Worry about you buddy, as far as your breathing bat, bird poo and harmful spores. Please invest in some safety equipment like a breathing apparatus, safety (puncture proof) gloves and shoes. Looks like you enjoy yourself and your cinematography is great!
Hey!! Coupons have an expiration date on them and it is usually within 3-6 months of when they were issued!! That means that if you looked at the expiration date of the coupons you might be able to get a date of close to when this place was abandoned!
Wow! Wonder what happened to the family that was there. So much stuff to just let go! Maybe after the fire there was no recovering. Very sad. Maybe happened in a time when the economy was starting to crash? Wow! Great video!
This was very interesting! Good find! Oh, do you have a video showing the video equipment that you use? I am learning about video and would love to see what you use! Thank you for the unique video journeys you share!
The item hanging on the fence, that you thought was a pair of handcuff's? that was what was left of a girth, that went on a horse saddle, to hold the saddle on the horse. good video, I love going on your adventure's with you, thank's for taking me along!
I could clearly see OHIO on the truck near the end of your video. The marble in the drawer with the sucrettes looked cool, also it looked like a couple of coins or tokens. The way I look at stuff from places like that is if the previous owner had some bad luck it might be unlucky for me to take it, although that kids marble would be tempting... Great job on posting and keeping the camera steady for a long video on a cold day. I haven't seen icicles for a long time, not very many in S.Cal. PS I subscribed to your channel. Ohio, I lived in Centerville and later on Dayton for a while back in the late '60's I miss the woods, we had a nature park across the street from us on Grants Trail in Centerville, I had a ton of fossils from the stream in that park. Only place I ever lived with fireflies.
+Jonathan Harris tuff to tell Im not sure on this one. Also thank u for the compliment I try to film better with every new video! I tried to move a lot slower to give the effect to the veiwer that they were actually there with me! In addition I think my stabilizer is paying off (makes camera have no shaky movements while filming) even though it can be a bastard sometimes. Thats that BUZZ noise!
The piece of farm equipment is called a grain drill. Two of the containers held seed, two held fertilizer. and as it moved it "drilled" the grain and fertilizer into the same hole in the ground.
What was the name on the sewing machine in the desk? Good explore, I enjoyed it. Thanks! Be careful of those hay, manure forks & shovels. When those things are turned up & one steps on it the wrong way the handle will fly up & whack a good punch. Oh. it hurts.
I don't find it boring at all! lol 29:40 yeah that skull was neat , nice one man :D and I completely agree, abandoned houses seem to be where you find the most interesting stuff, vs abandoned hospitals and factories etc. Large places like that are still cool, they're just almost always gutted with little to nothing left but the shell of the building :/
+Ominous Toilet thought I lost ya there for a minute ha . Glad u commenting wanted to personally hear wht u thought of this video bcuz film speed I really tried to improve. I know! AN untouched stuck in time hospital/school would be epic!

Love your videos, but dude, you need a respirator or you are going to get histoplasmosis, seriously. You can get it from bird dropping, not to mention the mold spores you are breathing in with toxic dust. You don't want to risk your health for YT.🤗🤗🤗

lol, it's just that I'll be curious even to explore the truck, it's like going into history for me. I wonder if friends or family of these abandon homes ever see these videos and remember when someone was living in them...
@ 38:52 in one of the tires someone hidden in between them or just a head... right b4 u say "someone here keeping warm" almost like u acknowledge it... let me know if u c it...

+Brandy Stallings Thanks Brandy =)
i feel the urge to rent a dumpster put everything in and start rebuilding...such a quiet place to love..i love it!!! thanks for the video.
I'm just wondering unless the kiln was not working or was destroyed in fire some way why it was left behind because kilns are expensive.

You seem so discouraged in this video. 🙁 Try not to worry about those that critize you, you do a good job and I don't see them doing what you do.

Wow! Wonder what happened to the family that was there. So much stuff to just let go! Maybe after the fire there was no recovering. Very sad. Maybe happened in a time when the economy was starting to crash? Wow! Great video!

+Laura Earthworshipper Thank u so much for letting me know wht this was. So i was kinda right? Anyways thanks again!
Looks like abandoned not many decades ago. Very sad. I hope everyone survived the fire and they were able to rebuild their lives elsewhere.
the tractor was an International Harvester
+Beth Orbreiter Prefect thank u!
I don`t get it, the house burned down, and the owners just left all these things behind, and talk about those cars, why you leave behind so many cars.
+MadMax Theroadwarrior idk man they must have got it covered? JUST THOUGHT WHT IF THEY DIDNT MAKE IT OUT OF THE FIRE?!
@@ExploringwithHunter wondering also, would a malfunctioning kiln cause fire? I sure hope there were no injuries or fatalities.
Nice one Hunter. :)
It pretty cool like seeing the barns poor horse
What was the name on the sewing machine in the desk? Good explore, I enjoyed it. Thanks! Be careful of those hay, manure forks & shovels. When those things are turned up & one steps on it the wrong way the handle will fly up & whack a good punch. Oh. it hurts.

Maybe you should move the railroad tie on the freezer. The family could be in there.
Maybe Jimmy Hoffa was in that freezer? Don't think I would have been in a hurry to open it!
The plate on the Jeep was Utah? I couldn't quite read it. Looks like the fires might have happened after people stopped living there, unless they had no insurance?

That sound is actually pretty cool what is it? Ur phone?
That little ford bronco im guessing is probably a 1986 model and has the 2.9 v6 but thats just a guess tho
This isn't exactly an "Abandoned" house. It's more of a house that burned to the ground...
So sad.
