Most of the comments are harsh but i like its sporty compact design. Its powerful enough for its price and economy is also good. Its good for tight city roads i think.

M@verick Brother i know that it dose not compete with Ford figo. But if you see the price of ignis for top end model(it's about 7.50 lakhs*) right???? So in my opinion Ford Figo is a very good product in that price range. I'm talking about a price brother, not about any competition. Both cars are good in there price range. But Ignis has very cheap plastics inside the car. And it's dose not suit the car which cost you for almost 8.50 lakhs on road.

Mini cooper founder name is Sir Alec issigonis. Is name ignis related to Issigonis? But the purpose he made mini is to create cheap small good gasoline cunsumption car. Same with my ignis. I use this ignis in indonesia petrol tipe since 2018 that use AGS matic transmition that actualy manual transmition with computer so has only two pedal.
Very valueble money car with price same as the cheapest toyota or daihatsu car in indonesia we get the Nexa car branded from suzuki in india. Imported to indonesia. Very top in gasoline consumption in indonesia 17 km/ L in trafic jam, quiet car , good looking exterior and nice interior design, we get extrem Air conditioner panel, LCD monitor music player JVC.
I like using AGS transmition we can use manual that can fast aceleration in city and use automatic mode in highway.
In maintanance fee and oil is 1/ 3 daihatsu or toyota. Body plat ignis is so thick, more thick than the highest price Toyota car Fortuner SUV. Ground clearence is high so match with the majority bad road in my country. Before i use Daihatsu Sirion hathback low ground clearance that often body repair because road condition. Now i had driven 40.000 km since 2018

I'm disappointed with Maruti's strategy of calling it a crossover but not giving it the features which would matter to it. It has no difference in terms of engines to Swift, Ritz and Baleno. I wish this had a VGT 90HP engine instead of this 75HP one with slightly more kerb weight. I was very excited about this car and it still looks good but would have to drop it from the list of my next.

Nice Review as always by Autocar ! I drive celerio AMT which I bought when it was launched , but let me tell you , AMT doesn't fancy you at all , you will feel that you are driving a sluggish car , it only works perfectly when you are on soft pedal , the MOMENT you press pedal hard on any AMT , that's right any AMT car you will feel gearbox behaves abnormally as the smoothness in gear shifts is still a matter of R&D for MSIL . I take up with them but you know - when product is sold its all yours.
Conclusion - GO FOR MANUAL ONLY .

Some feedbacks from my side post my visit to the nearby Nexa showroom to see the Ignis:
    1) Quality isn't impressive.
    2) I did sit in the Zeta variant and had my leg touching the steering wheels with the steering at its highest position. The Zeta variant doesnt have seat adjustments.
    3) I am 6ft tall and my head was hitting the roof while getting into the rear seat.
    4) Another shocking thing was the lever used to open the hood of the car which reminded me of the lever used in old Ambassador.
    5) Costing cutting has been done on the seat cushioning too with the rear passenger knees hitting my back while being seated.

Maruti's done it once again!! Change the over body but use the same engine.. this one gets the same engine as swift, dezire, baleno, brezza (diesel).. it even sounds the same as swift in this video. No offense to Auto car but Maruti needs to do some good R&D for new cars. Upgrading body and cabin features won't do it in the evolving car market. I wonder when they'll get the 2 door 2L swift sport to India. Anyway, good luck..

Prabhat Gupta bro this is what every other car manufacture in India doing changing body but engine remain the tried and tested engine basically they are reliable also it helps them to cut the cost

After cutting costs they price it more than 8 lakhs for top end model?? What's more frustrating is the abrupt change in interiors where you will be treated with rotating nobs from the maruti of 90s.

Thoroughly disappointed with no CVT, Nexa cars should have it. At least in Petrol. Good crisp review though.

The whole package looks like a mis-match although there are some interesting bits of cool and funky styling. Swift seems like a sensible buy. And no SVHS?
