Filipino nurses are A TEAM. When they’re on duty, doctors working w/ them are confident that everything will come out good & done, at the end of the shift.
Agree! 👍
It's always a comment for Filipino nurses everywhere they work globally.
So heart warming to hear these 🥰
Yes, nurses are hardworking. Thank you for the recognition they deserve..
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💪🏻
I think all nurses put there hearts into their jobs not just philipino nurses
ALL Filipino Nurses work hard because we support our families, not just ourselves. A lot of foreign nurses are also good of course, not only Filipinos but a lot of foreign nurses are working just for money alone. They tend to be absent from work when they don't feel like working and would even ask Filipino Nurses to take their schedules if these Pinoy Nurses are free on those dates. And foreigners complain a lot which you will rarely hear from Filipino Nurses. No wonder Filipino Nurses are the most requested by foreign employers.
I agree because that's our job.😊every nurses is unique even though we read and follow the same principles how to take good care of our patients still someone will be more extra ordinary among the rest.😊
@@MrSuperralph23 magpakamtay ka nalang tol
It is different. Some do their job but Filipinos are warm and always give the extra care like you are a family member
But I had to search this. My mother and both my aunties were nurses and yet I never see them represented, especially in the media. I was delighted to see one highlighted in an Amazon ad.
Of course all nurses work hard.
Is it too hard to give a shout out to the Filipinos? They're the ones who also bring the great food..
Yes ,I’m Filipino -Uk nurse for almost 2 decades now . We nurses , works as a team . We persevere . We do the best we can to deliver the highest standard of care one can expect . Not only Filipinos but all nurses regardless where you from .
I am a Filipino cardiac nurse here in UK and these comments touched my heart. Thank you for posting. 💕💕💕
It was different then when the first batch of Filipinos worked in UK early 2000. I worked there 2001 and experienced discrimination from some doctors and senior British nurses. Filipino nurses are trained like US nurses and they noticed the difference. In my experience some doctors dont even listen to the Filipino nurse recommendation or suggestion. One time I have a debate with one of the the doctor because he wont believe in what I was explaining about some cardiovascular issue..( i worked in Philippine heart center before coming to the UK). I have to get the book when I get home and called this doctor just to prove I was right. I missed the British patient though they are one of the best patient to take care of..iam now in US.
Hi Jack! Thank you for sharing your experience. Yes times have definitely changed. Outright discrimination against any race is a big NO NO today. Now that you've worked in both the US and UK, which do you think is better?
@@nursejakeUK pay wise its better here in US but working environment and satisfaction in performing your skill in nursing its better in UK. I worked as a recovery nurse in a cardiothoracic unit in UK and I was able to put into practice all the theory and skill I learned in nursing school. Here in US its more restricted because of fear of litigation.
Thank you for respecting Filipino nurses because when I was a nursing student in the Philippines, I was hardly respected. There was a hierarchy and student nurses were at the bottom. Probably equivalent to the dirt and microbes on the hospital floor. Thank God i practiced as an RN elsewhere & felt respected there.
this is true omg i hated some of the staff in the hospital
So true....
Pwede po mag story time kayo hehehe. Gusto kasi ng pamilya ko na mag nursing daw ako pero parang ayaw ko
Godbless. I have a cousin who also works as a nurse there in UK. Keep safe always.
Thank you Ellen! Take care. 😊
proud mother of an UKRN....🇵🇭❤️ keep safe everyone !!!
Pierre, has got the most heart warming and realistic views about the Pilipno nurses...
He looked very sleepy when he was being interviewed.
I couldn't agree more. ✌️❤️
All they said Filipino Filipino nurses are hardworking the reason why we are so dedicated and doing are job professionally because we love and enjoy what we are doing and always keep to our mind we work overseas because our families in the Philippines need us there our inspiration that why we keep going and going even we are so tired but still keep smile and do are jobs!😊
100% true what you just said @Ghie Sico! For the love of family and for a better future.
thanks for this video, looking forward to be there soon.
Not only filipino nurses also filipino work as a careworker and all filipino worker is very hardworking people all over the world
Thank you for the heartwarming recognition for Filipino nurses. Kudos to you Jake.
Thank you mam Liebe.
It’s great that Filipino nurses have great reputation there but best response is from Pierre who gave great realistic advice!
He did! Very pragmatic and genuine. Not aiming for counter-praise from us viewers
We love Pierre! He's very honest and straightforward as a doctor. Ang congratulate him, he just got engaged. 💍☺️
@@nursejakeUKWow, hopefully the marriage is doing well 😊.
Thank you guys for appreciating the works of Filipino nurses. We love you
Mr. Pierre's comment is more idealistic and all feedbacks are worth it. Thank you UK 😍❤️👌. Soon. Gonna Come there to work. 🙏
They are timid yet friendly but they mindset they are better than other nurses which backfired. So I would suggest for those that think like that to be more social and be open minded to work with different personalities
I appreciate your comment. Thanks for watching!
i hope I can work in UK..😍😍
filipino nurse is hardworking ,flexible, responsible person, friendly and caring people..they also respectful 😍😍

I'm an RN of the Philippines and currently not practising the nursing profession but I find this video very inspiring. You got such a nice doctors there in the UK. I might consider going back to nursing I just don't know how. I hope I'll have the courage to do so and I might consider moving to UK as well. Shout out from Riyadh KSA. Ikaw na bahala sa bahay ko. God bless.
Mag RN kana ulit! Balik ka sa pinas experience kahit ilang buwan. Kahit community pwede.
this made me less nervous in pursuing nursing :,>
Go for it, but make sure it's your call not only by what you heard and see. Pray for it. And if you really have a passion for helping others, most especially those people who are sick and not only for good salary in abroad. ✌️❤️ 🙏

Nice to see you kuya jacob! Nice vlog!. :)
Hey Andrew! Thank you. Ikaw sad! I saw your vids. Keep it up.
Prince William and Harry was raised by Filipina Registered Nurse Liily PiccIo FROM 1984 to 1998. I myself is a Registered Nurse and worked 40 years here in US before I retire. People have to know that English is the medium of instruction in all Philippine schools from Kinder until the student finish College. All the books we are using are US authored books. The Philippines has 2 national language English and Tagalog but most people understand English than Tagalog. Signs, banners, directions etc. are all written in English.
great in so proud pilipino doctors and nurses in uk stay safe and godbless

May point ka dyan. 😅
Wow they think filipino nurses are great. Nakaka proud naman from wogee
Yes you can find filipino nurses around the world. I just wondering never heard a filipino doctor. If there is, why very seldom.
Doctors earn more in the Phils than abroad, especially specialists. It's a different story when they go abroad, unlike nurses.
You could hardly hear of Filipino doctors in the UK (but there are, I know 2 of the few here) because we have a different curriculum back home. Some of the nurses here were doctors back home. You also have to note that we have also children of Filipino migrants who are now doctors but could not be said Filipino doctors because they acquired British citizenship. Therefore, they are classified as British.
In here to qualify for a medical doctor from Philippines , you must at least have 11 years of practicing doctor in your country of origin . I don’t know , probably there’s a bit of changes in recruitment . Uk doctors are the best so far to work with .
Filipino doctors cant practice in UK,as they dont earn their diploma in this country..and aside to that they earn more money on their special fields....
@@elviecrizaldo7663 , I works in acute hospital . Filipino doctors can practice their profession as long as they had practice in Philippines for 11 years . Then next step to register here in the Medical Council of Uk . Just like nurses .
Hello po salute to all frontliners po
New friend here stay safe kapatid God bless you and your family... #worldofgee
We care, there’s a diference, yes all of the above. Not only nurses but almost every Filipino’s abroad.

Medyo biased interview kasi pinoy yung interviewer. So malamang puro positive at compliment sila. Hahaha
May point ka dyan. Haha. Pero walang ibang gagawa ng video na ganito kung di ako lang. Kaya hayaan mo nah. Pero even behind the scenes before ako ng youtuber eto na ang mga opinion nila kaya nagka idea ako na gumawa nito.
Yeah FILIPINO hard working. I proud OF all them. God bless
Thank you ma'am!

Salamat ❤️. Ingat.
Just my own perspective, Filipino/a nurses are being taken advantage of abroad
Sorry to hear this. It's a case to case basis I guess. As long as you know your rights and the rules, you shouldn't let anyone take advantage of you.

@Cari's vlogs Mam they are all doctors po. I'm the only nurse in that video. 😅
Here in the town i live in most of the people here choose nursing. Because it's the only course they can choose here. Because the hospitals needs more of them. Except there are a few doctors and also we needed pharmacist aswell
A lot of pharmacy have open in our town and the nearest barangay. Also to the remote places here too :3
Hi there! Thank you for leaving a comment. Where are you from and which town is it?
@@nursejakeUK Jolo Sulu. Philippines
@@hansdontlewdtheloliplsorwe3947 Wow! It's great that you've seen this video. Nursing is an emotionally rewarding profession. Maybe at first some people in the Philippines take it because of their parents pushing them to go for it but later on in practice they feel and realise how important the profession is. Patients spend 90% of their time with us nurses. Wen they get better, feel listened to, and discharge back in good health, much of that is because of nursing care and it is very rewarding.
@@nursejakeUK Yeah true!
Done watching friend .stay safe
I met 3 Cebuana nurses here in Calgary. They came in as caregivers. Instead of enrolling in a nursing program to qualify to practice nursing, they went through the PROCESS first of "CHALLENGING" the program. They were successful, so they didn't have to go to enrolling in a program. They were able to practice right away, one ended up being a operating room nurse. I would say that the UK health authority readily recognizes Filipino nurses' and midwives' expetience. They are much better to seek employment in UK than in Canada . There's too much requirement to be able to practice here in Canada. They are basically being forced to enroll again in a nursing program instead of doing an evaluation first.
Exactly. Actually I wanted to go to Canada as my auntie is there too but the costs for studying again is too much. You are definitely right with the fact that they do not recognise the quality of our education back in the Philippines.
Watching you here from UAE. keep safe
Thank you sir EJ! Ingat po dyan sa UAE.
@@nursejakeUK your most welcome po
Lovely comments
Nice content sir sharing
As a Filipino nurse, this is very biased. This only reflects our colonial mentality as a Filipino. The need to seek validation from foreigners of what we do is very obvious here. We are known to be hard-workers, same as other nurses of different ethnicities. It would be so rude for them to answer you in a negative light. I am not saying you are wrong in doing this interview, but this is a reflection of our annoying craving for validation from foreigners when we don’t really have to.
Thanks for the comment. The target audience when I started the channel are Filipino nurses and I was thinking what could possibly inspire them. Then I thought about the high regard that doctors have and thought this would be very encouraging. Unlike in the Philippines where some (if not most) doctors treat nurses like we are below them. Here we are colleagues. It's definitely not for validation. We know our knowledge and skills level. It's more of APPRECIATION. Thanks for watching 😊.
@@nursejakeUK While I don’t agree with you, I respect your noble intention. True appreciation is unsolicited.
I also have relatives working as nurses in the UK and they really work hard for what they are paid for. Nurses here will stay if they are paid good salaries!

Wow nice Complements to all our ka Ba Bayan God Blessed you all xxx🤗😍
A Filipino asking other races how they liked working with filipino nurses! Real bright. Of course you'll only hear positive feedback. 'lis dyan!!
Thanks for your opinion. Who else would do it? Other nationalities are afraid to ask the question as they might be labeled racist for singling out nurses from one country.
What we should not be doing is bringing other Filipinos down. Your first three sentences were okay, as they are opinions. But the last one is derogatory. Very rude, quite unnecessary really as the first part already stated your opinion.
I challenge you to make a video where you interview people and see how much courage, hard work, and time it takes to do it. Send me the link once you've made your own video.
Otherwise, make your opinion but no need to be rude.
