They live and breath music, y'all can't compare. You have to understand that by copying the moves it does mean you've learned something, but Larry and Laurent aren't good just because they learn they're good because they feel, listen and emote...everything. that's what's important, movement without all of those things together is just dance, but what the twins do is ART and that cannot be copied.

Larry and Lau are also professional dancers who have trained and worked with the best dancers in the world. They come from a family of dancers, some of whom were professionals who challenged them and who helped to shape their style. I literally watched them improve over 16 years. Do you really expect these kids who are starting out to be on the same level as these giants are now? In fact, they seem to be at a place in their careers where they can actually enjoy teaching as they have put in the work and have achieved many of their dreams.
.It appears that they young people they are dancing with “feel, listen and emote” too. I would also bet that the Twins learn from them as well. Any good teacher does. These young people are in the workshop, having spent their time and money so that they can grow. Let them live.

I'm totally late here lol but I sorta agree, but not completely. You can copy someone and learn something at the same time. I just wanted to make that distinction, but also, I do see the point that you're making though. I wonder what it feels like to be the Twins and see people doing your moves and style at these workshops lol They don't seem to mind it, unless you try to come at them with their own moves, in which case I know they will quickly put you in your place lol
Ppl try but honestly nobody can really compare to them, they're far too outa this world, they're phenomenal, unique, amazing, etc, they're so incredibly talented n blessed in all that they do, dancing esp is a natural part of who they are💖

The first two guys were good. I will give them that but they looked like they were really trying hard to prove something. While doing this, they forgot to listen to the music which takes away from the overall performance. On the other hand, Lau not only listened to the music, he became the music and we heard every note!!!! Crystal Clear!!!🎶🎶🎶

on the start lau bite himself and was bleeding u can see in the end of his freestyle that he licked his wound and shake his hand because the pain.
u guys dont get it, hes nickname is BEAST cause he literally are like an animal hungry for feelings, he battle for that to FEEL it!
i had seen he doing this kind of things a lot of times, eating flesh of himself or others when he dance, he killed a lot too, hes body language became brutal and he is no longer he funny and sweet laurent that we know.
not going to lie hes probably the best les twins imitator of style iv seen in a while but its a bit cringe because its too similar in style even the break downs and patterns of moves but not bad at all hes legit blending laurent and larrys styles (first guy) and second guy similar situation but first ki d was better than "illestrate" to me atleast in this freestyle lol

This is why it's becoming harder for the Twins to win battles handsdown. Everyone else is starting to mimic their style. It's almost like how golfers are now lifting weights thanks to Tiger Woods. Now it's harder for him to win. 😂
No high level dancer is copying Les Twins. The people who can actually compete with them have their own very unique styles. Les Twins are not winning because 1) Their competitors are pretty fucking good and 2) They show their moves so much that it gets boring and repetitive. Not that dancers don't repeat moves, but we see too much of Les Twins
@@user-xb7dk2qy1r Respectfully disagree. Yes, Twins lose a lot because opponents dance better on that day, mostly. But repetitive moves? GTFO. Every freestyle they do, I rarely see a repetitive move. It's mostly variations of a base move. The last battle against Rush Ball, which they lost fair and square despite a better 1st round, there wasn't a single repetitive move. Laurent had a head drop which is just a variant of the death drop. Now go watch other dancers repeatedly for years. I can guarantee you they're more repetitive, by a mile, either by style or moves. If anything, I am amazed at the lack of repetitiveness considering the amount of dances they do. Have you ever seen them repeat the Edit Ants freestyle from a decade ago? No. Despite dancing to that song frequently. The whole repetitive argument is a baseless assumption, cop out answer if you will. The obvious answer is their fame.
@@TK0S3 Partly agree with you here, and I stand corrected. What I should have said is their style, not their moves, get repetitive. Although, they do have some signature moves from way back that they still do. But everybody does that.
As far as style, I can't really describe Larry's style, let's say, in words. But I'll put it this way; when you've watched a lot of videos of one dancer, you kinda come to know what to expect, and sometimes that's not a good thing. Sometimes they surprise you still, but most times you're just used to it. And that's what's happened to Les Twins. When I said they get 'boring and repetitive', it's not to suggest that they are actually boring and repetitive, rather I've seen too much of them.
And yes, fame has to do with it, but only because they are so visible. I never suggested that Les Twins repeat their moves more than other dancers. But they are much more visible, therefore come off as repetitive

I don't think copying, just taking inspiration. Les twins dance a certain way that's unique to them. As other dancers, people just follow the big leaders.
Here is the thing, I never thought to do hiphop but after I watched a lot les twins video I just start dancing cause I like the way they dance. Whenever I dance now I got some move from lerry I was like wtf I didn’t even though about it. It just come and goes and now my style became like lerry dance style it sucks for me cause I watched alsot of lerry dance style. Trying to avoid it but it ain’t work
Bro, i think everybody should dance using moves which are makin him good. U know. For example im goin this year to dance school but i know that there wont be Larry style, twiins style. Just hiphop. Only type of hip hop which i like is les twins, salif something like that. !!!!!!Everything matter when u dancing against Les using their signatures. Thats is not good!!!!!!
@@Hamadabatikh if u have time u can think about ur signature and create ur own Style, cuz Les twins is da reason why I started dancing too and I realized dat I should make my own style wid Les twins music knowledge, now I created several signature moves and one of my signature moves is used by the partner of zykens in a solo dance, dat is why I ain't using it no more, my style can't be famous, cuz no one support me to express it even my parents don't like my dreams wat a life

Nothing wrong to imitate Lau and Larry moves at all. Ive seen Larrys move before that he immitates other dancers more or less and i didnt mind at all. The hard part is to really immitate Les Twins moves. Noone can go even near to the end result weve seen from Twins all these years when Twins not only can easily immitate everyone but can expand to those ideas even further.
