I use follow me all the time on my Air 2s. Not a bad attempt at Cooau's first drone. Price is good too! Would be a great beginner drone for people to get into drone flying.
ive used my ma2 when ive gone snowboarding or single track mountain biking. its a novelty feature and i dont use it often. maybe 2 or 3 times a year. as for POI i use that when im doing an inspection of something like my houses chimney. again novelty features...

Thanks for the video. Great information. I have this drone an has helped me learn some of the features. What type of phone are you using with it? My android LGk40 keeps crashing so I use my kids iPhone 5s. But I would like to upgrade my android to something that works well with it.
Glad it was helpful! How does this fly for you? It seemed to be a really stable flyer for me and was really zippy. I was using a Samsung Galaxy s9, but I just upgraded to an S20 FE. Both have worked really well for me, pretty stable. Good Flying!

It's me again my friend, how long does it take to charge the battery? They arrived today with about 2-3 circles full. And they been charging for almost 3 hours and one is still blinking on the last dot, and the second has two dots left. Almost 3 hours now. I assume since these are micro USB, it's gonna be a slow charge huh? Maybe 6 hours or more if fully dead?
No worries, If I remember right it was long, 6-8 hours or more. I remember thinking one of the batteries was defective after charging all night and the last dot was still blinking, then a couple more hours in the morning and it finally stopped blinking and was fully charged. Good thing there are a couple of batteries. I think you're going to like this _flying stapler_ , it does a decent job, especially for $99. Have fun!
Are you certain the WiFi is staying connected to your device? Mine would disconnect intermittently until I changed all my other WiFi connections off auto-connect. The WiFi connected to the drone properly is required to allow the app to work at all.
When I try to connect the drone to wifi the wifi reads no connection, therefore I can’t calibrate the drone. Also the gps doesn’t connect. Any tips? I’ve spent a whole day trying to figure it out :(
All I can say is that you cannot calibrate the drone using the app if you are not connected to the drone via wifi. All of the parameters will not read correctly until you get this connected, including GPS. You may want to try different devices, I think they may need to be compatible with the 2.4Ghz band, but beyond that if you still can't get it you will have to talk with support. Worst case get it exchanged or replaced... good luck!

I can not find spare batteries ANYWHERE Let alone manifacturer's website, I can not find a battery on any company's website that sells a clone of the model or even third party websites where they sell knockoff drones from china or sth. Does anyone have any idea where I can get new batteries that are compatible for this model?

@@AlienDrones well when I press no for when it asks if it’s been calibrated, it switches my screen to the demo on how to spin the drone. Im physically spinning it for literally about 30 min now and my screen doesn’t change. It just shows the drone spinning horizontally. I don’t know if I’m making sense. I’m getting so frustrated at this point :(

@@deninis03 you need to calibrate the gps outside and in a place where there is a good amount of gps signal. You can fly without calibrating the gps but you'll have to fly manually and counteract the movement of the drone just to hover, as if you are flying in ATTI mode, and also rates will be incredibly low.
indeed, everybody seems to be saying it the same way, though not technically wrong, misleading certainly... BUT they are getting better, one of these days stabilized 4K video will be commonplace on even these level drones...
@@AlienDrones can you select the resolution that you are shooting at because there is no way that is 4k. the 1080p occusync feed on my ma2 looks 10 thousand times better it might have a 4k capable sensor but it was most certainly not shooting 4k. there wouldnt be any pixelation especially at the distances in the video with the amount of data in 4k video frame.
The manufacturers need to step it up for sure, DJI has crashed this middle market with the mini-SE for sure. For $300 ish, if they stabilize the video with either a mechanical gimbal or EIS they will be great competition, as they are getting pretty decent and stable, I can really tell the improvements in the quality being included over the last year. The occusync is phenomenal for distance too so that will be the next hurdle. I still like to see where different manufacturers are going, still fun flying regardless if they're the perfect model...
@@AlienDrones yea but DJI puts crap in their software which poses a security risk. theres no reason why dji fly needs access to my contacts and the ability to make/receive phone calls. couple that with the requirement to sideload the app from a DJI server :/ and no transparency from a chinese company means that after my ma2 dies i'll trash it and build an FPV drone.

Mine doesn’t say calibration on the top when you try to calibrate it , just has the drone Rotating and it doesn’t connect any suggestions?

4K? Doesn’t even look like 720p. Looks like it flies good though. That seems to be common with cheaper drones, great flying, not so great camera.

Again why even bother with these expensive toys when the DJI Mini se/ mini 1 exists. For that price it doesn't make sense.
