Cameraman never dies
That’s why you should become a camera man
Well if he DID die and his video got washed away with him, how would we ever see it?
What if it’s a camera woman?
@@teddybetts3254 another person sent the video?
@@AdoroEstudarIngles Yes it's possible, but it would be an incredible stroke of luck to find it. And the video wasn't even damaged in any way?
It's survivorship bias; the ones that survive are the ones that we see.
I used to work on a cruiseship for 4 years. I will never forget when we needed to go away from the port in Gibraltar, a storm and high waves were announced and alerted. That where the biggest waves I have experienced. I love the water, the sea and waves but at that time I was scared to death, we had such big waves that the ship was literally dancing up and down with the huge waves, the restaurants, bars, shops needed to stay closed , just one buffet restaurant was working but no one came, not even the guest because everyone felt sea sick and you couldn`t even normaly walk. You couldn`t even go to sleep properly because you would swing in your bed, plus they alerted our crew that we need to be ready in case of any emergency embarking. It was an amazing experience. Thank God nothing bad happened.

You can't underestimate such ruthless power. The ocean is not something anyone should ever test because it has no remorse or sorrow when it claims our loved ones, rips all we have away and changes a once familiar landscape into something you can't recognize for decades after in mere seconds. We have to realize just how little control we have over such a force and respect it. When we continue to challenge it you will only be reminded of it's strength and ability to destroy everything and leave no evidence we ever existed on this planet.
Truly amazing video, you were able to catch the raw beauty and the relentless power our oceans possess. We have been so lucky to be able to live in a place that can leave you breathless with all its beauty, but never underestimate how much power it has over our lives. Respect this fierce place. Please make more vids like this it was by far much better than the same clips that don't do justice to the raw power and unspeakable beauty of this planet but you have some incredible breathtaking clips you don't see often if at all. Thank you.
So true.
Will disasters ever end? What do you think about it?
Imagine driving on 1 of those rds that make no sense right there in the middle of the ocean. Can't ever forget riding through FL and they had something like that. My dad got so mad at everyone & told everyone to shut up. You don't gotta tell us twice. When u finally acknowledge you're out in the waters, in a car. 😟😥 damn, that's a lotta water. And it doesn't even stop anywhere w/ in viewing distance
not true...if cost wasnt an issue. Mankind has the ability to build huge massive structures to hold back the sea if we wanted to...we choose not to....
Power of currents is something which cannot be underestimated. Staying in front of the sea would be a crazy idea.

This is the first tsunami/wave video I've seen where the thumbnail wasn't clickbait. Sheesh! 😳
It's truly invigorating to come across a video that truly embodies its title. The power of water and oceans is awe-inspiring when they unleash their might. Living in Australia, I witness such occurrences almost daily across the country, particularly during cyclones on king tides. It's a force of nature to be reckoned with
Don't worry soon humans will control this waves like a kite in sky 👍

@@wiesiawojtkowska Natural disasters are Nature's reactions to physical stresses --- and in our recent history include stresses imposed on Nature by human activity, human greed, human unwillingness to think of the consequences of their actions ( a prime example: PLASTICS --- we invent a substance that will take millions of years to degrade and then we proceed to fill the world with it! ....Why didn't we draw the logical conclusions about the impact on Nature of using plastic? ). Humans have concertinaed such a magnitude of stresses on the Natural Order that we have, winthin barely a century and a half, affected the meteorology of this planet that would normally take tens of thousands of years to occur! So, in answer to your question, unfortunately for us and the entire animal populations, NO, disasters will never end.....And there are those of us who actually plan to "conquer" other planets for us to destroy........!

I don't know how people live in houses so close to sea walls. I'd never sleep at night. One freak wave and you're in trouble. Crazy.
You're right, Peace4777. Many people glamorize the ocean, but have little respect for it. My family is from an island in the Caribbean. Growing up, I heard my father say, repeatedly, what a terrible idea it is to build a home too close to the ocean (within 8 kilometers, or 5 miles). A freak wave, a flood, and you're somewhere out to sea, potentially. It has happened on my island, happened in many, many places all over the world. It's a matter of common sense, really. Yet many people prefer to remain purposefully, blissfully, ignorant of the inherent risks.
@@trevorb8333 I love the ocean and the mountains. Would never choose to live near the sea. Especially now with so many adverse weather events. Take care 👌

Y'all best thank the engineers who designed the sea walls. Without those, the damage will be far worse.
And the waves will be much more boring not crashing into it
@Franz Atencia Exactly
I mean I'm not an engineer but a wall is one of the simplest designs in the world right? Hardly the pinnacle of engineering 😂
@Alias of an alias Actually, a simple wall is usually not sufficient, as parts of the video will show. Engineers have tested different shapes for sea walls and it's quite interesting. Though there is a video on it, I'll save you time or help peak interest. One of the walls tested is shaped like a C which redirects a wave straight back into itself. Wall design itself ain't the only thing engineers do, they also have to plan the building of sea walls under a tight budget.
Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you've got till it's gone.
They paved paradise and put up a parking lot…….
This is how people lose their lives by being in harm's way of flooding waters for a pic, instead of finding higher ground.
