I’m visiting NYC for the first time in January and seeing 2 shows, one of them being my all time favorite. I’m super excited and about to buy tickets so this was super helpful!

Saw my fair share of Broadway shows, the best way to save money on tickets is not to go to a scalper, but to the box office 3 hours before any show.
If it's popular show, then sometimes the people have tickets waiting for them at the box office and cancel.
That's how I got my Shakespeare "Tempest" ticket for really discount cost. With Patrick Stewart playing the LEAD ROLE!!! Post Star Trek fame.
You just have to be inventive, don't buy tickets in front of the theater.
Wanted to get Candide tickets, but they were sold out - change of plans went to see Hell's Cuisinart off Broadway.

My favorite Broadway Show of all time is The Phantom of The Opera. Unfortunately, it is closing. But, I am going to save it. I need all my fellow Phantom Phans to go to New York City, and help me save Phantom from closing. Let us go, my fellow Phantom Phans! Our time is now! Let us go! Come on! Let us go!
Oh no that is so sad to hear! Phantom is one of my favourites too but I know they have been talking about closing it in the UK for some time now
What?! They have been talking about closing Phantom in The U.K. as well? What the Don Juan is going on with Sur Andrew Lloyd Webber? Has he lost his marbles?
I just saw the phantom a week ago, it was amazing!!! They are closing because they are doing renovations to the theater. I hope they will come back, and stronger than ever. Please buy your tickets as they are selling out quickly. I was lucky to sit in the front row!

@@christinedaae7323 I was just in NYC and that is how I found out. Original close date was Feb 18th, but they have since extended to April 16th. From what I was told they are closing as renovations are being done to the majestic theater. It could be sales related as well.

Save your money. The show is not good
I went to see The Lion King on Broadway because everyone said it was better than the movie.
My only disappointment was it didn't have Sub-Titles.
Only movies have sub titles
