Hey everyone! Welcome to another video and today we are back in Zeepkist with more 15 minute track builds! This week the theme is FLAT so I built a racetrack to test how well my friends can actually take corners and keep their speed through them! This was a simple theme but a tough one to make FUN, although I think I succeeded in adding some exciting sections that impressed my friends and the public lobby! In the Zeepkist level editor, you get access to the same tools the developer uses to create official tracks!

Use the paint tool to paint levels however which way you want, pick from multiple skyboxes in the settings menu, and use the tree gun to quickly decorate your levels with lush greenery and trees!
Zeepkist has online multiplayer support for rooms of up to 16 players at a time!

I have a theme suggestion. So as I understand it, in zeepkist you don't lose speed when going in a straight flat line. so I think it would be cool if you made tracks that start with a fan, like the one at the end of this track, but have no other ways to get speed for the rest of the track.
only problem with that is turning still loses speed
@@-zsh that's the challenge, you have to make it to the end.
Outside of the fan area, you will still lose speed due to drag that's added above 200
Had a fun time racing these tracks with you guys, gotta say Daps track was hilarious. 😄
Here's a meta tip.
Turning loses speed; if you wall ride you don't turn.
Sice your checkpoints don't get in the road (loved that detail) you might be able to wallride a lot...
Beware for not smashing into the barrier, try to approach with the smallest angle possible and let the curve raise your car.

EDIT: I wrote this comment before I finished watching the video! I appreciate you spectating them, it did help! Original comment: I am enjoying the Zeepkist series, and bought the game thanks to you and Dapper and Kan's videos - but I would enjoy it more if I could watch you playing Dapper and Kan's tracks, and if I could watch them playing yours. I know it means a change of format but just hearing them talk about it without seeing what they are experiencing is a bit frustrating

Really fun track! Challenging but enjoyed playing it!
any time you are going into a booster or a fan you should probably be checking how much of it you can benefit from: if you're not instantly trying to bleed speed from it then it will usually pay to try to rout into it as soon as possible instead of going for a smooth turn line, that fan-turn for instance was throwing people out anywhere from ~95 to ~125 and could probably get up into at least the 140s if someone aimed for just missing the wall in the turn.
this is a pretty extreem example but it holds true that it's usually worth thinking about exit speed any time you see a booster or even a hill.
What about a roller coaster style track with like one big incline at the start for all your speed. Maybe adding in a loop of some kind or something.
When do you guys usually run? Just got the game monday and havent seen more than 20 in game yet. Made a track on my 1st day (1st day track ) and uploaded to workshop...but only a couple of people to run it with.
Would love to run you guys tracks sometimes.

There was ~60 people last time I played. Seems like 7-11 CEST is a good time to play.
The dev has a discord specifically for the game. Great place to communicate with others and to join in on these events.

Now...as i already have over 50 discords i never am on when something happens..what time/day does he usually post for this event? Or should i scroll through countless messages to find that out?

@@korvoth4269 if you look, you'll see in the official discord the last time Kan sent a message. It was at 4 am my time, which should be around 10 pm eastern. You just have to be luck enough to catch it.

You should try rebuild a real track once. Not in this format just a normal episode. Something like Spa with some elevation changes or Silverstone might be really cool.
