I demonstrate the process with my specific unit; however, you should be able to apply the instructions to your own Black and Decker toaster oven because they all have similar functions and features! You can use a toaster oven to toast bread, bake food, warm up leftovers, and even broil things! They are one of the most convenient and functional kitchen appliances, and you I use mine very frequently!

Bruh…it’s confusing to bake
You’re a life saver,my instructions only say turn timer off,but it has considerable resistance and I was hesitant to turn the knob back to 0,or off,I thought it would break,until I saw you grab it and turned it off,that was it,the key word was “force it off”I grabbed that sucker and turned it back to off.I takes some force to overcome that spring.

Easy to use. This version does not have a digital timer czcams.com/users/postUgkxRDB_bcaZEIluKD5LMPVlvPAA2E1HbFNo but to be honest the analog timer works well --- plus when cooking you often check things and there is probably a clock on your stove, one on your phone, on your wall, etc ...We have cooked a few things using the air fryer, some with the bake/air fryer combo. Also, it toasts bagels perfectly ... or as perfect as you can heat up bread.The air fryer basket takes some scrubbing, sometimes, to get it clean --- but that is the same with any wire basket. Maybe one minute if cheese or something gets on it.
I bought mine from Amazon and there wasn't a pamphlet or anything on how to use it properly. I really appreciate this information from you.

If you use bake, don't you have to wait until the oven preheats before setting the timer?
They have changed newer version harder to use
what is the mode switch for? what does it actually do? what if i dont put it on bake when im trying to bake or broil? will the temp not be right? if i make toast on the bake setting even though all the other switches are fine at toast temp and toast time will it just create a smoldering piece of bread?

Mine is a little different but can you use the bake option for baking stuff like cookies cakes etc. Cuz majority of the time when baking cakes etc I usually will put it on the regular temperature like 350 or 400 etc but then sometimes it doesn't come out the same

I just got the BD toaster oven with 2 racks. It doesn't have the button to turn on the fan but it is a convection oven . I wish it had that but I guess it stays on all the time. I did get directions with it. It was $39.96 at Walmart. I was just wondering about the fan. I just tried it out and l could feel the fan on the vents on the inside. Thanks for the video.

I just bought a new Black & Decker almost like the one you have it has three knobs when I turn it to bake it heats up broil and bake I do not want the Broil on at the same time as the bake what do I do please help

Why can't Black and Decker provide a manual? I'd pay an extra couple of dollars for one. I got the oven home and was clueless how to operate it. I found this video helpful but I'll have to google for recipes.

What does the middle knob actually do, apart from turning on the fan on some (one?) settings but not others? I mean, the temp & time are covered by the other two knobs.

Hmm. Everyone knows how to turn knobs. Where do you put the bread for toasting? Do you put a capture underneath, etc. Unbelievable that not a single manual or video shows what to do with all this. Humans are not squirting out knowing how to cook.
Exactly. This is the kind of stuff I can figure out. Not really the videomaker's fault. B&D seems to give no useful information on any of its toaster ovens.

Have you actually verified the temperature is accurate with a thermometer. I have returned 3 B & D ovens because the temp never got up to what it was set to. Potential for food poisoning.
My problem is that when I put it on toast and put the timer to the little dark square (which I just assume means toast since there is no manual to say where to put the timer for toast) it just gets warm but does not toast. So it is trial and error. Why must it be so damn difficult? So I put the timer to 20 minutes just to see if toasting was even possible with this piece of junk. It worked but who wants to wait 20 minutes for a stupid piece of toast? Unbelievable. I bought it on sale so I can't take it back. Now I know why they won't take it back. This contraption must be about as popular as a cold sore.
Did you figure it out? I just got one and what I've found is that you cant just only put it on toast (the timer at the bottom), but you also have to set the temperature too....so stupid. It should be automatically toasting just from the 2nd and 3rd knobs.
Without an oven thermometrr you never know what the temp actually is

BUY the one with buttons , i regret purchasing the one with the turn knobs , there is no good way to preheat , or even turn the stoppid thing off , the digital one is 100x better
The digital one dont even start timing it untill it preheated and it beeps when its preheated
