Mazzy please, please go and get your gall bladder sorted. I was just like you, recurring horrendous pain that came and went and I just kept working through it until I was rushed to hospital to be told my gall bladder had disintegrated and I was about an hour away from death. Do please go and get it sorted my love ❤x

I'm a small part Italian ( my Dads Mums Mum was Italian) only things I got was the temper and the Italian beauty spot. But I would have loved the skin colour, about 7 months ago I was very poorly but my skin went that colour, the Doctor told me it was either my kidneys or liver that was the problem. Really hope your gallbladder recovers very soon. Xx

Hi Mazzy, I just wanted to drop a message to say that I absolutely feel your pain on having gallstones, I was 'lucky' to finally have my gallbladder out at the age of 27 (a few years ago now) after suffering for about 5 years! I really do hope you get sorted soon. It's the worst pain ever. Things like dairy and fatty foods (mince, sausages, and bacon) were my culprits! And I'm very sorry to hear your such sad story about your mum. All the very best to you, Mazzy.

Hi Mazzy I had my gall bladder out years ago and it was the best thing that's ever happened to me, I don't have to worry about what I eat so much anymore and the pain has completely gone. I had 21 gall stones, some of which had fallen out and blocked my liver so that was a different procedure as well. The Buscopan isn't for gall bladder issues it's for IBS, so I wouldn't take it, get a prescription from your doctor as there are specialised meds for it. Hope you're feeling better really soon as it really is the pits xx

Mazzy please don’t put it off - make an appointment with your GP and get your gallbladder sorted once and for all. It won’t get any better and could get a lot worse. For once put yourself first and get it done! I had gallstones for over 20 years but thought it was heartburn and always had a bottle of Gaviscon handy. It wasn’t until I had 2 bouts of agonising pain within 2 weeks and the second time being physically sick that I went to the GP. My gallbladder was removed within a fortnight and I’ve never looked back.

Mazzy, honestly the Buscopan are completely OK to take. I had gallstones for 17 years, I spoke to my GP and she knew I was scared of having the op, she gave me Buscopan. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didnt. Thankfully I had my GB out 5 years ago, best thing I ever did. Its not worth living with that fear xx

(Lost my Mom age 49, way too young) Please don’t put off the gallbladder issue (had mine out a couple of years ago, after growing severe attacks & I only had 2 little stones). Be careful eating anything fatty till you have it removed. Take good care of yourself, dear!

My wife has just had hers removed after a Gall Bladder attack that even the paramedics thought she was having a heart attack 2 days in A&E before they scanned her and removed her Gall Badder straight away. It was removed by Key hole surgery and its going to be a 6 weeks recovery. Once removed she felt better straight away . She is recovering well now. Get it scanned and removed you could end up with severier infection.

Hi again , i spent years being scared of being like my mum as when she stared her change she used to here voices and talk to herself, But when i stared my change i had non of those things, i was put on HRT , I had a nice doc who said when you have a stroke you will regret taking HRT, so i started cutting it down every few weeks less tablet took about two months then i was drug free, I have never suffered like mum remember we have grandparents also dads side, we are not completely mums. I take no drugs only supplements and i make sure they are cake free and safe organic is best. I am my own doctor, I never go docs, I don't trust them when i was pregnant they made me have a c section and told me i would never have a baby normally as my pelvis was to small, But guess what i have had three normal deliveries and one only 2hrs labour, My daughter is the same age as you, People think we are the friends not mother and daughter X

Mazzy, sweetheart, don't touch any unprescribed medication. Get to your GP who will refer you to the hospital. I've had exactly the same symptoms - high pain that takes hours to subside. I was diagnosed with a 'porcelain gallblader' which means large amounts of calcium buildup in the walls of the gallblader. I'll be having a surgical removal in the near future, hopefully 'keyhole surgery'. Avoid fatty foods in the meantime - lamb, pork, butter, hard cheeses, pastry - they can all trigger an attack!
If you have another attack, try and sit upright - lying down may make it worse!
    Look after yourself xxx ❤

Hi Mazzy I have gallbladder attacks too.Its the only pain I would say is worse than Labour pain! Its awful .Glad you got the buscopan.you can get them in any chemist or even tesco!! .They may not take all the pain away but they help me and I find them very good.If you don't know your triggers its always worth jotting down what you have eaten if an attack comes on.For me its greasy foods. My pain is upper right front and back and I was holding my tum as had terrible abdo pains and I was also vomiting bile. Touch wood ive not one for about 2 years. When you get the pain its because one has tried to escape into( or whathave you) your bile duct. I would Percivere with buscopan , take as soon as you feel pain is building before it gets too bad.Lots of peppermint and peppermint tea can help too.I lost my mum when I was 5 she also had a sudden heart attack at just 44.So I know exactly the fear you felt that day❤ You take care Mazzy and look after yourself

You said you didn’t spend all of your holiday money, so treat yourself to easier wash day. Where do you do your ironing? Take it easy and book to see a GP soon.❤ ps wash laces separately in machine.

As I said before, having my gall bladder removed was the best thing I ever did… before I was scared to eat! I had to wait along time on the waiting list, so see your GP ASAP. Just was the laces on your trainers.. liver pain can radiate to right shoulder.

Have you ever tried Apple cider vinegar when having an attack? Just a little bit mixed into a glass of water, it’s the only thing that’s ever helped me, if you buy some try & get a good quality bottle with the mother in it xx

My week got to Devon, two days in Sidmouth, beautiful weather, then my nightmare began, I landed up in hospital, to cut the story short, my temp got up to 280,terrible headaches, ear left side was so painfully driving me up the wall. My face was swollen on the left side.. I looked like a hamster, I was on drips for 2 days. (Thooth abscess) tomorrow thooth is being removed. I'm shaking in my slippers. So much Meds I'm on. I'm a great nurse, So a big THANKYOU TO OUR NHS,. I DEFINITELY GOT A LOT OF REST,. PLENTY ANTIBIOTICS, THOOTH PAIN IS WORSE THEN GIVING BIRTH,. Mazzy, with your trainers buy some liquid whitener that you can buy in a tube, it has a sponge applicator tip & you just rub it all over the white parts of your shoes & it dries very quickly, you can then leave it matt or rub it with a cloth to give it a sheen. For the laces, I always take mine out of the shoes & soak them in a solution of biological Persil detergent & they come out spotless if I leave them soaking overnight, I’m sure any biological detergent will work though but Persil is the best imo. Hope this helps 🙋🏻‍♀️💖👟

For years I thought I was lactose intolerant, everytime I ate cheese, dressings, milk, etc... one day I had a breakfast and within 1/2hr I thought I was having a heart attack but on opposite side. I went to emergency doctors appointment and had to have it removed asap. Your caeser salad, hot chocolates, curry would have caused it for sure. And even when removed you can still get symptoms but nowhere near as bad.

Aw Mazzy sorry to hear about your gallbladder being painful. A fatty diet can increase gallstones as the bile duct is responsible for fat digestion. Try limiting your fat content. Xx

Hiya Mazzy honey i really dont want to scare you but i had my gallbladder removed few years ago then bout year after abdomen pain came bk but it was above my belly button had loads of tests done then finally had pillcam thy did CT SCAN to check i had no narrowing of bowel thy said if gets stuck very rare we let you know because you wear this belt thing which records the pillcam travelling through your bowel we kept ringing the hospital to say i was in tears in pain this went on for 6 weeks thy finally ring me go straight to EDCC hospital the Specialist said thy couldnt believe thy left me with it stuck for 6 weeks also my bowel was so narrowed thy call Strictures .... Thy said we need to operate first thing i lost most of small bowel thy had to connect it to large bowel massive operation.?. Thy send it off it came bk Chrons... That was 16 months ago now i have more strictures so to try aviod surgery im on Biological Treatment Humira Injections every fortnight so scary 😢 So please Mazzy go get checked out because you may need your gallbladder removed and thy say if pain so bad go straight to hospital so please go ..... It wont hurt to try Buscopen to help with the pain .,, Try blend diet Mash Chicken clear fluids try stay clear of salads because thy grow them in humid places bacteria grows on it and even washing your salad doesnt remove the bacteria im not allowed any kind of salads cos of the bacteria it doesnt harm anyone without abdomen problems but definitely does chrons and other abdomen problems..... I told you my story Mazzy not to scare you but to make you aware and to try help you so please til your pain goes completely bland diet and try Buscopen...... I hope you get it sorted honey because i know the pain is unbearable its horrendous.. Sending you big hugs xxx❤❤
