    I dont see how the Depart Number depends on the Employee Number? In my opinion, I don't think the department number depends on the employee number because if you got rid of the employees, you still have a department in existence.

    If attribute 2 is functionally dependent on attribute 1, it means attribute 2 cannnot be dependent on subset of atttibutre 1. Is this true mam???

    Deptno should no depends on empno bcz witout dept no employee exists
    So empno depends on deptno

    With all the respect I think you're wrong in the fully FD example, cause IDstd can alone determine the grade as all the values of IDstd and Grade are different which means that grade isn't fully FD on IDstd and IDprof! Please correct me if I'm wrong!
