A coaster with a twist based on a small village in the Himalayas, Disney imagineers
construct just every single little piece of detail to making this an ultimate adventure.

construction of the structure/Everest
The track construction
lanscaping the ride area & Everest structure
Scenery for ride area,station and queue line
testing of the fantastic themed trains
the ride experience
special effects
the Yeti animatronic
how the ride works to thrill so many.

its really sad to see how hard these people worked on this incredible animatronic, for it to likely never work again. i cant imagine. when it worked though, it was absolutely incredible.
of all of the disney imagineers joe rhode is my favorite of all of them cause i,m his biggest fan of all of the disney imagineers even though he,s retired he,s still my favorite

Man i can't believe i found this, i remember watching expedition everest ride videos and building a thrill ride the full documentary back in 2014, when i was obsessed with theme parks, Minecraft and rct3, this definitely brings back nostalgic memories.
Nice that they thought of the track vibrating, but too bad they didn’t think of the Yeti’s thrust
I saved the whole series just in case it gets deleted for some reason. Such a great series! And one of my favorite rides at Disney world.

how can discovery channel do this..... the town where those guys went was kathmandu and it is not a tibetian town its a capital city of NEPAL.. And also mount Everest does not lies in tibet it lies in NEPAL.... producers of discovery channel if you don't know then please google it before you air you productions.....
