This isn't really a hack - just an advisory that some HD stores might have lower prices than others and that you should shop around.
Managers at each store will create "specials" for items within their own store that are exclusive to that store and not transferable to other stores. On RARE occasions, you might find a "Store Managers Special" and approach the manager at another location with the option to match and get the same deal. Managers are not required to price match other store's specials but occasionally will if approached respectfully, AND you are there to purchase more than just the single sale item. If you are asking while standing beside your filled shopping cart or lumber cart, they will not want those additional sales to walk to another store. They are all Home Depots, but each store is in a form of sales competition with the others in their region.
I’ve recently done this with a $250 item I wanted from NAPA auto stores. I was placing an online order with an in store pick up. I discovered a difference of $20 in price between the three stores in my area. I attributed it to location; the store on the edge of the Minneapolis metro area in mostly a rural community was the highest price. Most customers who live there would easily purchase the item there rather than drive fifteen more minutes into the suburban area where it was cheaper. Time & gas saved.

I got that same saw for $219 at a HD near me.
No I wasn't wondering why you got another saw..it's for content lol .and I've seen this on sale like this for a few weeks so it's no surprise lol..

Yeah it happened to me with Lowe's here in Hawaii but it was a mechanic toool set. I think its just an error and punch in wrong price.
How do you get it to stay on Pickup instead of delivery? Just tried this, but it won't stay on Pickup. When I hit pickup I have to choose a location and add it to the cart. If I don't and close out of the pickup locations, or if I add it to the cart and go back to the tool screen, it defaults back to delivery. Same with the website on my computer.
Maybe this was some kind of glitch when you did it? Seems like they don't allow Pickup as a setting specifically to keep people from doing this.
Maybe it depends on your store location. Stores can be run differently depending on the store manager. Try a different store to see if it works there.
