I've been wanting a Voltes V Action figure in the 90's but never able to get one..
Finally, I was able to get this PREMIUM DX SOC Voltes V. I think the wait and the PRICE tag is worth it.

So Jane (the pilot of the Volt Lander) rotates during Volt In but should Steve (of Volt Cruiser) does also? So he ends up inside the eyes of Voltes V.
If they do that, it will ruin the vol cruiser’s canopy/head of voltes v appearance since Bandai have to install switch outside for it to rotate.

Excellent review! Did you find the connection between Crewzer and Bomber to be loose? I don’t hear any kind of click, and the head comes off rather easily, which is a bit disappointing but not the worst thing ever.

I tried to use latex gloves to handle my hot toys figure at one point, but it just doesn’t feel the same. Loses about 40% of the feeling so stopped using them
I only use gloves on glossy finish action figures or kits. Glossy surfaces attracts oil and finger prints that will ruin the glossy finish. My sense of touch is already used to with gloves since am in the medical field and use glove 80% of the time.. hehehe

Is it difficult or tricky to volt out? Maybe you can also make a separate video on how to volt-out Voltes V so that we can see how it goes? Specially if there are buttons to press for the robot to separate into 5 vehicles. =)
It's very simple, But you have a very good point i will gladly make a video of it. give me about less than a week because i am almost done with the next video of DX chogokin Valkyries from Macross/Robotech. =)

How to lighting the eye of VOLTES V?
When you combine them all together with all the electronic all it will automatically lit up the eye.
Have you seen Voltes V Legacy? Any thoughts about it and will you get a toy from that series if ever they would release one?
Yes, if Bandai chogokin will release a legacy voltes V toy then I will definitely get one. The animation is good for far but the cast’s acting is a different story. 🙂

Great review, if not the best on this release ! I don't know why, but when I do the Volt Bomber the arms don't connect as flush as yours in you video.

Is it the forearm not being connected to the cockpit properly?
@@ChinHobbyToys yes, but I've managed to do it. On the other hand there's something quite stressful, it's when you remove the die cast chest piece of the Volt Panzer. I don't know how to do it properly as I've created some stress marks on the connection pieces
For the chest piece, best way to remove it is to use the space where the volt bomber shoulder joints rest by pulling it out both side at the same time. Putting it back it should be properly aligned because if not, one side will not lock. Dont force it to lock because you ill damage it.. take it out and try aligning it again.

IMO nope. My rule for myself is "not to pay morethan what is the MRSP". Thats just me. But if you are willing to pay 1k and you have the money laying around go for it.

How do you take apart the feet from the legs?
Found it. There's a spring loaded button on the front of the feet.
Theres a grey square botton right in front of the lander. While pressing it pull the lander apart from the Frigate. (Needs a little bit of force)

I don’t think you will be able to get it cheap since this is sold out days after it was released few years ago. Try checking online or your local anime store.
How is the articulation? :D
Articulation is very limited. Knee can only bend 80 degrees and and hip can only go 20 to 30 degrees. No articulation on the waist and very limited head tern. The only very articulated part is the arms. But this kind or articulation is normal in all combining soul of chogokin line and very heavy 14" action figure.
Decent if you watched the video and paying attention you can see that the arms are very articulated and the leg have limited articulation and zero articulation on the hip.
Bakt kya WALNG ibng version ang Voltes V??? ang Mazinger Z may difrent versions, kasama na Mazinkaizer,etc, Getter robot may diffrent version gaya ng Emperor,etc Grendizer/Goldrake may diffrent version, Gaiking may diffrent version, Geeg may diffrent version, pero Bakit ang Voltes V, Combatler V, Daimos ay ONLY 1 version lng???

@@ChinHobbyToys Oh yeah sorry I missed it. I just figured they could've rigged it in such a way that the eyes also light up with chest during the audio gimmick.
@@johnbulanadi6204 i was hoping the eye's would light up when you do the weapon gimmicks on the chest but it didn't. Am guessing because the head have independent switch.. but it would have been nice though.
