Hi for container jar candles which wax is suitable hard gel wax or soft gel wax . Because I made my gel candles using soft gel wax . have a problem with the gel wax candles .if the candle jar is in tilted position for longer time period it is deforming and leaking . What is the solution. Please suggest

Did you add water to the gel wax? This looks like a good idea for my project, but I went out of my way to get everything to make a safe gel wax candle, zinc core wicks, and gel compatible fragrance. In your opinion, do you think i should try your method anyway? And just have a short candle with gel underneath. Im trying the safest option. This is my first time making a gel wax candle. If I add scent to the soy wax, should i use the gel compatable fragrance? Thank you!

May I know the reason of using soft gel instead of hard gel? (Just curious if hard gel also work?)
It is better to use soft gel wax, because soft one is easier to stick to the side of cup. hard one is mainly used for mold.

Yes, they are plastic. They will not melt because of heat, wax will cool down very fast.
