  • In this video we tackle trying to install AJP headers from Amazon, replacing our rear main seal, and installing our New Grip Force Carbo Kevlar Clutch on a 1990-1996 Nissan 300zx. The z32 has a massive aftermarket community which can be good or can be bad. I have been pretty lucky when it comes to the drift car with aftermarket parts, but for this project things have gone a little differently.
The AJP headers were a pain to mount up. I highly reccomend to buy a different set of afterarket headers. It took abour 3 hours to drill and fit these properly. As for the clutch I have had good experiences with Grip force so for the price you cant beat it. (Disclaimer) this is for a daily driver NA car not a TT or big power build.
    Parts used:
    - AJP Distributors Aftermarket Headers
    - Grip force Carbon Kevlar Clutch
    - OEM z32 rear main retainer gasket
    - OEM z32 rear main seal

Great build videos bro! You've inspired me to drag my old 300zx out of my mom's garage and start throwing wrenches again, especially since prices on these bad boys have skyrocketed and parts are almost non-existent since the pandemic.

I have to stop working on my Z for a few weeks. This is the third time you released a video right after I did the same task myself haha. Btw, I wouldn’t wanna do it again but I installed the headers with engine in the car!

Great video, what was your previous clutch setup and how was it? It might make sense doing a review after the break-in point of the clutch. Cheers!

My previous clutch was the exact same clutch. As of right now I'm around 800 miles on the new clutch and I have some chatter. I believe it is from the shop that shaved my flywheel, so I am planning on getting a new flywheel/ getting this one shaved again

In your opinion what’s the best headers for a NA 300zx 96?

Truthfully I really liked the fitnent in the DNA headers off ebay. They bolted right up but are not existent now. I would go with the stillen ones if possible.

That wasn't 1 and 1/16. That drill diameter was eleven sixteenths.
