I'm finding your Siril Tuts so helpful and informative - Thank You.
Great to hear! Thanks!
Since I don't have any experience at Astrophotography let alone Photoshop or the like I find these videos fascinating. I'm amazed at the creativity and knowledge of the developers and appreciate the time Rich has devoted his knowledge and time for all of use to learn Siril. Having said this I'm concerned about the development of AI and how it's possibly going to dumb down humanity.
Thanks! The internet has already started that! 😄
Thanks for posting this it has been very helpful!
Glad it was helpful! This is the updated way of doing that. czcams.com/video/Y-WmMvepTHA/video.html

Smart and very helpful. Thank you!
Thanks and you're welcome!
Whenever I run photometric color calibration, I end up with a blank image. Any ideas what causes that?
Never seen that. Are you still set to autostretch when that happens?
@@DeepSpaceAstro I've tried both linear and autostretch. It keeps turning the image all black. I haven't been able to figure out that bug yet.
Hello, I am following yout tutorials and i am having a hard time savinf as a FIT file. When I right click I am not prompted to save my image. I am sure it is a simple fix but I can't find help anywhere
What version of Siril are you running? If you upgraded to 1.2 released the other day, it appears right clicking to save is no longer an option. You'll have to use the save button in the top-right corner, with the arrow icon to save. When you hover your mouse over that button it reads, "Save the current image in a different name"
QUESTION: When I try to right click over starless image, It will not bring up the default box to save different type of files,
I have a total different menu. any ideas? Enjoy the tutorial videos!
There's a better way to do this nowadays. czcams.com/video/Y-WmMvepTHA/video.html
@@DeepSpaceAstro so that was an older version of Siril, correct?
@@DeepSpaceAstro that is the video I'm relating to. when I try to save a fits to a tif, by right clicking on the image, I don't see a menu like yours to save as
I don't think I right clicked to save as a tif in the video I linked. Regardless, that option was removed and you need to use the button with the down arrow to the right of the Save button. Top-right of the screen.
@@DeepSpaceAstro Sorry, I just watched he video link you recommended. I see now....! LOL.... sorry to waste your time. I appreciate the follow up. Thank you so much. I'm a newbie, huge learning curve as you can image for newcomers !
Excellent video
What version of Siril is this one ?
I don’t see this option ( like right clicking on the picture and save them ) on my lates version
It's an older version in the video, that's why. StarNet has since been built into Siril. This video shows how to use it. czcams.com/video/Y-WmMvepTHA/video.html
@@DeepSpaceAstro
Ohh I see I thought was some new version from mine
Actually I uploaded the last version and I used your video to learn it .
In Ps I can’t get to filter / camera raw sections it’s gray do I need to update or buy something ?
In siril I’m all good now
Thanks so much
Make sure you're saving your tif as 16-bit out of Siril.
