I don't know how to express my grief bc I feel silly for grieving so hard about someone I have never met. Yet Kobe brought me up in many ways-- basketball was life growing up. It was my escape. My sanctuary. My everything. I was obsessed. And the funniest thing is, I am a diehard Suns fan, and loathed Kobe and the Lakers lol. They broke my heart constantly as they beated on my Suns. Who knew my heart would be shattered yet again post retirement. Miss everything Kobe representated to me, saddened my future daughter won't be able to look up to Gigi as a baller. I'm simply heartbroken.
