Millennium Actress is one of my favorite Satoshi Kon's movies, as well as one of my favorite moves. Although Satoshi Kon had passed away for almost 10 years, I still feel unfortunate that he was gone. Satoshi Kon and Susumu Hirasawa are like Hayao Miyazaki and Joe Hisaishi. Hirasawa's music fits perfectly in Kon's movie. The lyrics of this song basically summaries the plot of the movie that Chiyoko has chased after the man she loved along with her thousand years (movies).

鍵の男性を逮捕した警官が、片目と片足を失って土下座と懺悔をしにチヨコを訪ねて来たけど、その告白の内容はあまりにショッキングでひいぃっと声が出てしまいました。出演なさっている声優さん達の中には今はもう亡くなっていらっしゃる方もいて、好きな声でしたから嬉しかった。チヨコの恋は叶わなかったけれど、壮大で夢にもロマンにも溢れたこのストーリーは凄い。 また最初から見たいし、一生記憶していたい。
