As someone who was old enough to have grown up with the PSone when it was new, and largely had my gaming tastes defined by games like Final Fantasy VII, Tactics, Symphony of the Night and Musashi, it warms my heart that even decades after the system's launch, it can keep bringing joy to new fans.
Nice vid, I always like hearing about personal experiences with older consoles and games rather than just a straight essay on them (unless it is 3 hours long)
8:17 Legends 1&2 are my favorite PS1 games ever. Capcom was dropping genre defining games and gems as if they were sliced bread. Easily the best third party of that generation imo. Great video!
There was a Canadian CZcamsr known for uploading video game essays and retrospectives with a focus on Nintendo content, particularly from 2015 to 2018. This CZcamsr's videos featured a sarcastic and comedic tone in their narrations, and they often included unnecessary rants in those videos. One of their videos was a 2018 video about "Flipnote Studio 3D" and how it failed due to Nintendo's decision to make it a Club Nintendo exclusive. While the CZcamsr's name was similar to "TheRandomGuyOnTheInternet," the exact name remains unclear. To uncover any information about this lost-media search. I don't have nearly as muxh to say about N64 unfortunately. It was definitely huge in terms of impact, but I personally way prefer PS1. Maybe I'll look at it in the future! :)
the n64 has essentially no jrpgs, fighting games, horror games, or shooters. My favorite genres. The PSX was the first console to sell 100 million for a reason. It changed how people all around thr world viewed gaming, from something for kids and nerds to something that was “cool”. For every great n64 games, there’s 5 excellent , and 20 obscure gems on PlayStation. I say this as someone who really likes the n64, not a hater whatsoever

RPG’s are so overrated. Nintendo 64 was so much better.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! These older consoles will live forever lol. They're truly timeless.
This i the beginning of a big channel for sure. I wish you the best!
Here’s hoping

Agreed. I like personal retrospectives better than history videos.
Ooo FF9 mention. The game ill return to someday!
My first game consoles as a child in the early 2000s were an original GBA and a PS1. It was one of the slim model PSone consoles.
If you liked Klonoa check out Tomba 1 and 2, they play similarly! I liked the puzzles so much in Tomba, but the missables can be frustrating.
I Love Tomba! or Tombi as I know it lol. It needs a remaster like Klonoa got.
Omg I didn’t even realise you only had 400 subs you deserve more
I appreciate it!
I grew up on flash games and pc games in the 2010s
Come on
PlayStation and Dreamcast are also my favorite consoles. If you like them, you’d likely enjoy the Saturn.
i do also very much enjoy the Sega Saturn

Best of luck to you. The lunar games are very old school and traditional RPGs.

Xbox owns crash now
