Just got this video in recommendations November 2019. I would love to know more about your home modifications. Am in a similar situation now. Any chance you keep up with or get notifications if someone comments on your vid? I pray so but can understand if you don't. Irregardless though, thank you for this inspiration...
@ 7:44 Gardening services must be expensive in Canada. I live on a half-acre lot & my gardener charges $30 to mow our lawn. Which comes out to about $240 a year.( It cost $15 - $20 to hire someone to clear snow from our sidewalks & driveway.) An excellent riding mower can cost as much as $5,000. But you can find a fairly good one for under $2,000. $2,000 dived by 24 = $83.33 each time someone mows your grass or clears your snow. And 24 visits in one year is being generous. So I doubt buying a riding mower is paying for itself in a year. More like in five or ten years. The only way it's paying for itself in a year is if you're buying a used riding mower.
Great renovations! Would love a house like this.
Love the idea of the extra handle on the door to close it.
Beautiful home!

Very nice house. I really like your kitchen setup.
Thank you for showing your house.
3:34 Personally, I would have preferred the deck to be level with the indoor floor.
