Dream SMP new members as of late have included Ranboo, Michael McChill, Foolish Gamers and more - but what if Mumbo Jumbo, the Minecraft Redstone king of HermitCraft joined the Dream SMP. How would he be part of the Dream SMP plot, what would he do about Dream being in prison, Wilbur Soot being revived, and Quackity's Las Nevadas lore? In this Dream SMP theory, Animagician explores what might happen if a member of HermitCraft like Grian joined the Dream SMP. It's similar to a KianKSG video, and also to my other videos like How Dream Will BREAK OUT Of Prison | Dream SMP and DEFINITELY my How the Dream SMP Will End... videos.

I have logical reasoning to suggest grian will join the dream smp in under a month.

Putting aside the fact that I just listened to essentially a twelve minute fanfiction (a well written and entertaining one, mind you), the train car interior build is amazing. It’s so cozy and nice. I love it so much.

I love how Mumbo's redstone is depicted as a bunch of redstone components doing weird things that somehow seem to work like magic which is actually very accurate with the way Mumbo makes his contraptions lol.
I really like all the fake redstone, mostly how adding honey blocks makes it look either more fake or more real and I can’t tell which one

Being that Dream has discouraged large scale farms or other such complex machines on the server in the past, iirc, I think mumbo would be the least likely out of all the hermitcraft crew to join. The generally light hearted and friendly nature of them all makes for a very rough fit with DreamSMP's more deep lore and more "edgy" vibes.
It would be cool, sure, but pretty unlikely.

Oh my gosh, Mumbo helps Wilbur bring about another war and then thinks nothing of it and proceeds to bring his hermitcraft friends with him to the Dream SMP for the "new season" because you said they were "between seasons" at the moment. War between hermitcraft and Dream SMP breaks out and Dream just runs off into the distance to summon his among us friends XD

That wont happen probably, though since mumbos in HermitCraft. Also I feel like Grian is a better choice for dream smp since its more chaotic

The intro/potential backstory for Mumbo is actually quite creepy-seeming and definitely makes me imagine dsmp!Mumbo being some weird type of demon/fae that was stuck in a completely seperate limbo/pocket dimension from the one that Wilbur knew and who was so desperate for any way to get back to redstone and building while in between hermitcraft seasons that he jumped at any opportunity to advertise his services to the very rare potential customers he found via the inbetween and the multiple various limbos. Not sure about the rest of the fanfiction, but it was definitely a fun listen and what-if. Also the sudden inclusion of Dream's "hello" literally made me jump lmao.

it would be amazing to see any of the hermits on the dream smp, but sadly i think its incredibly unlikely. hermitcraft is more about the large scale farms and grinding out materials, and is generally considered family-friendly, while the dream smp is the complete opposite, more focused on lore, and has an impressive amount of plot lines containing drug use and geopolitics. so while the crossover type thing woud be fun, we'd be lucky to even have a glimpse of it

Mumbo is probably not going to join the SMP. That being said, the video is amazing.
IMO, his skill with redstone could lead to him being hired to make weapons of war: Flying machines that drop bombs for example.

im gonna have my take on Mumbo's lore if he joined.
"Wilbur, sitting in the chair in the limbo, all he has, the same 13 discs, a jukebox and 1 book and quill for a diary, he has been waiting for 13 years, all of a sudden, a train comes past, a strange figure yells 'ALL ABOARD THE TRAIN', Wilbur excited hops in immediately, then about 5 minutes later, the figure (whos controlling the train) yells 'NEXT STOP, HERMITCRAFT SEASON 7', Wilbur, confused on why he didn't say Dream SMP decides to go through all of his memory, in the limbo, in dsmp, in everything, to figure out what "hermitcraft" was, thats when, in the distance, he sees a white blonde similar to tommy but way older and good at building, another blonde but with red eyes? similar to bbh, then, a mysterious man in a large black coat enters the train, *silent*, he sits across from wilbur and he decides to ask the basic, "hi, how are you", the man doesn't respond but then after a couple minutes the figure yells 'NEXT STOP, DREAMSMP', Wilbur yells YES while jumping from his seat, thats when the man says 'I see you're from Dream SMP huh?' Wilbur nods in agreement the man says 'Well, I need to tell you something', Wilbur, curious decides to get closer and the man says 'We have been trying to contact you about your cars extended warranty THATS RIGHT BITCHES GET PRANKED LOOOOOOOOOOOL

This is my idea, if mumbo would be here his canon lore would be tommy tubbo and Fundy found an old destroyed city because of a war, the creator of that city was mumbo an anciet creator that was part of a legion of great mechanics and builders mumbo was one of them and the last one left after the war that destroyed his city that he built , he vanished for 10 years he then saw tommy, tubbo, and Fundy, tommy left to tell what they found in their adventure with tubbo while Fundy stayed behind with mumbo to learn the secrets of the last mechanic, before mumbo died, his student the last one to learn the secrets of the mechanis
Mumbo will have the role of scientist in Dream SMP

i dont think mumbo would fall for wilbur, if this happens it means the seasons of hermit craft are a physical place that nothing can reach besides mumbo and he has lived in those places for 5 irl years. he may even be older than the beginning of the dream smp world and gods.
