  • Join me on my exhilarating journey from Los Angeles to Seattle as I embark on the exciting adventure of flight attendant training! The anticipation builds as I board the plane, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement pulsating through me. It's my first day, and the jitters are real, but I'm eager to dive into this new chapter of my life with enthusiasm and determination.
Upon arrival in Seattle, I waste no time in settling into my temporary home (my hotel room) for the next six weeks. As I step 1 into my hotel room, I'm greeted by a sense of both excitement and apprehension. It's a new environment, a new city, and a new beginning. Determined to make this experience as comfortable as possible, I quickly turn to Instacart to stock up on essentials, ensuring I have everything I need to fuel my journey ahead.
The first day of orientation brings a whirlwind of emotions. Excitement courses through me as I meet my fellow trainees, each of us sharing the same passion for the skies. Yet, there's also a hint of nervousness lingering in the air as we anticipate the challenges and adventures that lie ahead. But amidst the butterflies in my stomach, there's a sense of camaraderie forming as we bond over our shared dreams and aspirations.
As I reflect on the day's events, I'm filled with a sense of gratitude for this opportunity and a renewed determination to make the most of every moment. With my goals set high and my spirits soaring, I'm ready to embrace the journey ahead, knowing that each step brings me closer to achieving my dreams of becoming a flight attendant.
And this is only traveling day and orientation day! So much more to come!

Hey Liz, it's great to see you in training. I used to work for the same airline as you. I was a CSA at SAN Airport for three years, and it was a fantastic experience. The company looked after us; I'm sure they do the same for the F/A Group. I'm excited to see your progress in training and find out which city you'll be based in. Keep up the fantastic energy in your videos. Happy travels!

The first thing I do when I get into a hotel room that has a connecting door is go right back downstairs and ask for another room. It is impossible to get rest listening to all the noise through that door, especially for six weeks.

I hear ya, it was another trainee so all good!

    • @Abcdefghijk920
      @Abcdefghijk920 Před 4 měsíci +1

Just remember that when you’re working you cannot have a connecting door. And if staff ever says your room number out loud you also need to demand a new room and tell them the reasoning. You would be surprised the crazy people that know crew hotels for flight attendants.
Have a great time with this amazing job!

Liz, I'm excited for you and I've been applying like crazy to five airlines and going to a group interview next month.
I'll be 46 next month, changing career paths (master esthetician) and cannot wait for that "big break" for flight attendant training, work my butt off and receive my wings.

Yesssss!!! It is SO worth it!! We are about the same age so I totally can relate! I offer 1-1 coaching if you're interested to help you prepare for the interviews (I got my CJO from Delta, United, Alaska, Southwest & American all in the same year) so I have tips that I don't post in these videos if you're interested, let me know. Either way, thanks for watching!!!!! 🤗 good luck and keep me posted! You got this!

    Aloha Liz,
I just started flying right after you started and I was hoping you would be working for the same company as mine…!😆
I did my homework watching your CZcams videos before the interviews and it helped great deal.
I thank you for that very much.🙏
    Anyway
I just read your other comment that you got 5 CJO last year. What made you decide to go for Alaska Airlines?
I’m looking forward to meeting you at one of the airports or hotels!
I heard about free great buffet breakfast at Guatemala layover, so we probably stay at the same hotel!😆

Aloha 🤗Thank you so much for this note & watching my videos!!!! It made my day that my videos helped you get a CJO. CONGRATS! And cheers to being an FA!!! There were many reasons why I decided on the company I did - without going into all the details.... where the bases were located, the vibe/energy of the people at the interviews, how many FAs were at the company (everything is based on seniority) and other things. What company are you working for?
