The Freewing Avanti S V2 is a great platform for a turbine! Thankfully I had the perfect turbine to add to this awesome Jet, a Jetcat P20. It was simple but did take a bit of work to get everything installed correctly. The maiden flight will be coming soon!

How cool is that. I had no idea that all these parts came laser cut. Where can we look for all the conversions that are available for the different models??
They only make the lazer cut kits for. A few models like the F22 and Avanti. But check RC-castle.com !
The smallest turbine you can get , comes from Lambert (Germany). The Kolibri Turbine ist the smallest with the most power in that small sice. Every turbine is handmade in germany!

They are expensive, but it is sooooo worth it. Nothing better. I got 2 more on the way 😂

Do companies make even rough slide in conversions for turbine/edf? Just a frame to hold the assorted parts for each to make swapping easier, obviously it will be different for every plane. But if a company started 3d mapping and creating basic frames/cradles for different models and sizes to make it neater, would there be a market?
Can the turbines be maintained? Or repaired if say something got in there like a bird or small child
Yes! They actually have to be sent in for maintenance after the first 25 hours of use!

Can the jet be adjusted to test different jet engines like a prototype jet for versus engines??
This frame will only handle up to a 45 size. Anything bigger won’t fit and the weight would be waaaaay to much

High reving engines don't last as long. Other than that the P20 is a cute engine.
