I'm looking forward to being able to walk again. Disease and chronic pain and debilitating low energy have kept me from 95% of all walking for most of the last 8+ years. Praise God and Jesus is healing the things the doctors said were incurable. I will be walking again soon and I will not forget what it's like to live unable to walk.

I don't have depression, nor do i need to get in better shape. But recently I developed feelings for a girl and found myself in deep thoughts that kind of wore me down. That was the first time I decided to go for a walk just to relieve my mind from something and I must say I felt much better than I thought I would after an hour of walk and I decided to go for a walk every week. Now It's been more than a month, I talked to her about 3 weeks ago and she told me she has no such feelings about me and rather prefers to stay as friends. I can not complain about the answer i recieved but the thoughts in my mind keep taking their toll on me and so far, the best thing that can do to make myself feel better is to go for a walk in the evening, not be concerned about what to do today (cause it is pretty much over) and be grateful to what i already have. Sometimes the small things we are missing seem way bigger than what we already have.

I love this subject so much because it’s such a simple thing that actually works.
For most of human history we’ve walked most places. It gives us time to think and process the stimulus and emotion we have that have queued up. Since our mind is so engaged all the time nowadays, we build up this queue of feelings and things that have happened where we have given ourselves little time to process them
I find when I let myself be bored (even though it’s painful) is where I have the most clarity.
    Thanks for making this video!

I absolutely LOVE walking. I did get to a point (when i started the Job i have now) where i began Bussing it Home every day. Two Weeks ago i noticed i was putting on a bit of belly fat, so now i walk to and from Work. 3 miles each way. I realised i missed it so much, and it's warmed my heart to be doing this again. I regularly walk in my local Woods. I'm so lucky to have two Beautiful Woods five mins from my front Door. I camp now and then overnight there, and just find such peace inside myself with this simplicity. I don't believe in organised Religion. I find Nature is all i need. 🙂👍🤝

My husband was laid off nearly a year ago and I am still working. I just came through a major project and am utterly exhausted and ready to just walk away from everything, except I know I really don't want to do that, I just need a break. This is an important reminder to make times for my walks, not just for the physical benefits, but also to check in with myself in a non-distracted setting.

I was 28, living at my parents, struggling and depressed, with no clear ambitions.
Since then, I have completely transformed my path in life. I feel much happier in my life now. I agree that it’s the contemplative nature of walking that helped me change. It took a lot of processing and planning to find my way forward. Walking is a great support for that process.

Subject: Request for More Exercise TutorialsHi Hampton,I hope you're doing well! I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all the fantastic content you share on your CZcams channel and website. I’ve been following your free plan, and it’s been incredibly helpful, especially as someone starting from zero with no core strength, core compression strength, or handstand experience. Your tutorials have made a huge difference for me!I recently saw you performing V-sits, L-sits, and handstands in one of your videos, and I’d love to see tutorials for these exercises on your website. They would be really useful for beginners like me who are working to build core strength and learn these movements. Also, I really appreciate the dips tutorial, but I noticed it only covers parallel dips. It would be amazing if you could add advanced variations like archer dips and other progressions. I’m eager to take my training to the next level!Lastly, if you have any new tutorials or exercises of your choice that you’d like to add, I’d be thrilled to try them out. Your teaching style is great, and I love discovering new exercises through your content.Once again, thank you for all the work you do. Your videos are motivating and have been a big part of my fitness journey. I’m excited to keep learning from you!Best regards,

This This year I started studying at university, and to find parking I had to leave at least an hour and a half before, also to make sure I didn't run into traffic....But as the semester progressed, I started to get stressed, I didn't have enough time and energy for my other physical activities, One day I decided to walk to the university, it took me 30 minutes and I began to notice that it helped me feel good, 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening to return home. I like to skate, but there is no bike lane culture here, but that is another activity that I enjoy doing on the beach...rolling.Having wheels under your feet makes "walking" magical and entertaining, I recommend it. It sounds like you need to step back and evaluate what you want in life. Focus on the things that are most important to you(set a max of about 3) and make a plan on how to get to them one by one. I usually find it helpful to make a physical list(on a paper or poster) and stick it next to my bed so that I have a reminder of what I'm working towards each day. It's important not to give up, sometimes it takes weeks of work to just barely start seeing results(depending on what your goal is). Making sure to give yourself at least an hour each day where you shut off external stimuli and self reflect is essential as well. (whether that is stretching, meditation, or walking like in this video)

Walking in Norway is a bit like a roller coaster. Many of the trails also literally involve climbing!
There are many things I love about Norway. And nature, of course, is a big part of it.
But I sometimes wish I could walk more than 3 kilometers without needing to go up and down hills all the time.

I wish I lived in a walkable city so I would have the opportunity to walk more. Since I have to drive and work a desk job I am struggling to find the time to walk. I don’t even live in a walkable neighborhood, no sidewalks, loose dogs, shady characters. It’s not a part of my day unless I force it to be. I plan on walking tonight and this weekend. Thanks for the inspiration.

yeah, I saw that a lot as well in the gym, it's like you are training yourself to be physically fit, but not mentally, constantly distracting yourself from being immersed into nature and your own thought and consciousness. I don't like this, people should put their device down and being mindfulness and aware of the surroundings, and own thoughts which will give yourself a peaceful mind and mental strength.

@@FunCS371 I would say don’t force yourself too much if you’re already got used to it, just take it slow and easy, for instance, reduce the number of times you wearing headphones while walking by 1 per week, then slowly reduce it.
You mind might waver everywhere while doing that, but that’s what mind usually do and it’s normal, so you need to put small effort to focus on surroundings (e.g. your breathing, the noise your shoes make, the nature sound), the more you do, the more you will feel that peacefulness within yourself, and that’s called mindfulness.
Imma stop yapping here but if you have a mind to start doing it, I think that’s a good start for you, keep it up!

This video has made me reflect and realize how much I’ve changed since I stopped my daily walks! Especially my ability to get all my personal life tasks completed. Going to bite the bullet and buy a walking pad to see if that can bridge the gap until the heat index is under 105 😂
