I love the conversation around comparison/competition. Everyone wants their life to count for something, and to feel like they are valued/and have value. Most celebrities have nothing of value to look up to as role models. Better role models are people who have the same beliefs/values as you.

Start listening to Eckhart Tolle and Dr. Joe Dispenza. Your thoughts aren’t you and most of them aren’t true either. I was once in your position, but now life is amazing. Sure, I still stumble and have roadblocks, but I don’t stay down and in those bad thoughts. I know I have the power to change the signal if those thoughts don’t align with the life I’m living. Most of us are. Some more than others. I've been where you are for a long time. The point is that it's ok to be. You likely should and deserve to be. Once you're comfortable with that and accept it, only then can you try to pick up a few pieces. It takes a long time to pick up even one or 2 sometimes. It's based on the idea that regardless of the position you find ourselves in (wishing we where some place else) we will never be good at everything we do, but that doesn't mean we won't be great at some suff.
