Everyone listen, This is not Manson cover, it is Gravity Kills who covered the depeche mode song on their Superstarved record. Manson later covered it as well. Interestingly you've got the gravity kills early demo version here. The album track starts acoustically but other than that is the same. Martin Atkins produced it. The keyboard base arpeggio is up in the live mix quite a bit louder than on the record. Fun sidenote: the two drum loops are Manson samples...
I remember hearing your band's version in 2004 followed by hearing MM version. I connect so much with your version, it reminds me of my early college years and I thought at the time it was an alternate MM version. Either way I love your cover.
Still can't believe it isn't Manson, vocals are practically identical. More so cause for the past 6 years I was led to believe it was his version. Whenever I hear this version Marilyn Manson is till first thing that crosses my mind...
@YesIam97M It's not Marilyn Manson, it's actually Gravity Kills. I've heard this song, but it's Gravity Kills's demo version of Personal Jesus. -Chris Earthquake
Esta versión de Manson me gusta mas recuerdo qu eyo la tenia hace unos años en un cd la habia bajado del windows media player y desde entonces tenia años buscandola.
@ExArtez95 Seems like I did a big fail. Eum, I downloaded it from Piratebay, seems to be very wrong... Acually I though this was another version, becuse I heard it was one more, beside the "original cover".
@ExArtez95 but if you listen to this "cover" by Gravity Kills /watch?v=XoI_Md6j0l0 its not exactly the same as this that I put up. Maybe they did a smashup, Ikd.
THANK YOU MY DUDE! I've been searching for this version for awhile!
This is the best version by Manson!! Thank you
