? Underrated? No, it was very mainstream and popular. If a band was on MTV almost every day then it wasn't underrated.
That's like saying Queens of the Stone Age 'Go with the Flow' was underrated. Just not true. Really good album though, you got good taste! If you like this then check out Aphrodite's Child 'Four Horsemen', he took a bit from their sound, and Comus (their first album) Conceptually it was dark as you like yet also equally creative. They are much more 70's folk horror than glam rock.

Changing his look and style completely was an enormous risk, and he pulled it off. I know alot of fans rejected this era, but to me it's one of my favorites. We're talking about 2005 or so.I was a bit prejudiced, and every time I saw the video with the pig (as I called it) I changed the channel. But then I loved his music deeply myself. And then, my daughter and I, we went to discover his songs. And we watched every video together. And now that my daughter is 26, we talk about it sometimes and think about how cool Manson was a few years ago. We also saw the concert in Milan together and it was great. So many good memories. tbh i think marilyn manson to some degree is has an influence on any goth/flamboyant/artistic or otherwise "weird" artist. the man really was that revolutionary

Gives new meaning to the phrase “beauty is pain” 😢 I’ve been on this journey trying to find out who I am… I have been a fan of his music since I was 15, I’m now 43. Realizing how and why I was soooo connected to his lyrics…. We are all connected.. and can learn so much from each other if we would just listen. we’re so busy with selfish endeavors and over complicating things.

When Manson goes we will have lost the most expressive musician in our Generation possibly all time. We need more Manson!!!

I'm 40 now and Manson still plays in my regular rotation.

He was my hero but a travesty?! Been to so many shows and every album but allow yourself to see both sides then decide not just a small clip. I've dated someone that did like a tenth of what he did and I get nauseous at the thought of how many women he did this crap with. There's actually proof beyond a few articles. Not just a conspiracy anymore

      @@cintowin Where is the proof?
For the record, I don't believe anything Evan or her group of has beens said.
There is proof that she and her gf recruited these women to go along with this travesty. Faked an FBI letter, not to mention all the interviews Evan gave about Manson that were positive and even posted messages sending condolences after his parents died, way after their relationship ended. Would you do that for someone who "horrifically abused you?"
Not to mention women like Dita, Rose, Pola, and so on all support him.
He literally had his life and career destroyed without even being convicted, just accused!
If that isn't a travesty, I don't know what is.
