That will expose your interior camera lens which is fragile. If the interior camera gets damaged you will lose photo quality and may have to replace the camera which is a much more expensive repair. I would recommend doing this repair to protect your camera.

Thanks very much for the tutorial. I bought all the parts on Aliexpress for a couple of euros and it took less than 30min to carefully change the lens. I would also recommend some isoproply alcohol to clean the lens and glass in case you get and fluff, smudge or dirt on the glass during the repair process.

Other people and myself asked the question of where to find the glass and you responded to a friggin statement. I see where your priorities are at. Yeah you have to open the lens and clean. Better you can take off the back cover and do the work.
