The more choices for meeting people's abilities and budgets, the better. Thanks Rad
Yes This STATEMENT!
"I’m really hoping that this could be the first e-bike for people who are just waking up to the fact that they don’t need a car to survive anymore. Bikes like these can get you from Point A to Point B, cut down on emissions, save money on gas, and ultimately change the entire transportation game." -Mike Radenbaugh
Good on you, Mike. I get it now. And the name makes sense.
But for non-bicycle riders, this video shows too much pedaling.
Where do you live? You ain't riding a bike in January where I live.
@@davidbrown3971 in phoenix. January is the best month to ride. July is the worst, but doable if you take enough water
@@johnglennie4282 You actually don't need to pedal at all if you prefer not to. Just twist the throttle as you take off from a stop with the pedal assist set at a comfortable level (PAS 2 or 3 most likely).
@@LuisMontes too bad for you guys, we literally have 13 month of sunshine in Ethiopia
yep i said 13. lol you can look it up if you want to
Thanks for dropping the price twice inca month, Rad! I'm sold.
i can Dig it . Been saying Seattlites need to e-bike instead of bus, train ,carpool ,uber, lyft to keep physical distancing , not touch stuff and Stay /get healthy . Just needs a few gears for Seattle *Hills* 🚵🏾♀️
Yep this is new. They are even doing social distancing.
Yeah, I noticed that--they should have used that for the announcement, and had Mike explain the features afterward. It would have come off much better (the announcement, I mean).
Question: how did he manage to pedal backwards ?? Do you need to make some sort of adjustment to be able to do that?
He wasn’t going backwards because he was pedaling, you can pedal backwards but it doesn’t move the wheel.
We need a Rad Mobile hub here in NYC!! The last thing I see myself doing anytime soon is using mass transit. I want one of your bikes sooooooo bad!!!!!!!
me too, arriving in October.. no trains or buses for me. nope
Love that song!
I know someone who has been waiting a loooooong time for parts to be delivered.
Hey Frank! If you, or anyone else has questions about the status of parts getting delivered, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Product Support team for assistance. They can be reached at - support@radpowerbikes.com 🙂
@@RadPowerElectricBikes so you can be told that they are swamped with orders and having fulfillment issues and that you can cancel your order if you don’t like it. Terrible customer service that offers nothing but excuses. My bike was supposed to ship June 30 and when inquiring that is what I was told. Then was told will ship early to midweek July 5. Still hasnt shipped, won’t bother asking as it is useless and company doesn’t give a crap. If not shipped by next week I will cancel and look elsewhere.
but can I ride it from A to B if I'm not stylish urban hipster?
nope
Awesome video! Very well put together. The composition, sound effects, music, and camera work. All top notch. 1:22 riding these things around the i5 colonnade would be something else!
Thank you SO much for the encouraging feedback and for noticing all the details! So glad you enjoyed it! 😁
lol i thought it was very annoying music & sound effects etc. nice bike tho.
The seats are made of lava?
Hype!!!
So when is the Mission 2 coming?
Like the Rad bikes and bought two Rad Rover ST in Dec 2020. Unfortunately electrical motor and controller problems caused both to fail in May 2021. Major headaches getting thru to customer service and then find out there is short supply of parts in the USA and so I am dead in the water waiting on mystery parts to arrive. Sad times
Hey hey! So sorry to hear about that! If you wouldn't mind sharing your ticket number we would like to look into it more.
I have already spoken to four separate customer service folks about this. The deal is my motor assembly is on back order and no one knows where the parts are now. China, some random distribution in the USA. They say maybe two weeks or so.....

Hey Randy, Thank you so much for sharing additional information. It looks like the team has placed an order for the new motor, and as soon as it comes back in stock you'll be notified. Thank you so much for all of your patience. We're excited to get you riding again!
I don't care about your bike, I just want to know what band is this singing in the comercial.
Not sure why they’re introducing a new bike when they can’t even keep up with current orders on their bikes. Been waiting months,
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the global pandemic has restricted production, thus increasing wait times
Definitely pandemic
If the pandemic slows production they should state that up front. Before you order.
I would buy one but you need a 24 inch you guys should make one
A fixed gear?
Yes 1 gear only!
Not a fixie.....a single-speed. Nice move on the part of the one rider back-pedaling as the bike was rolling backwards. Sure looked fixed.
What band is this playing.
Love the Fremont Bridge Troll
could a person put an aftermarket derailleur and cassette on this?
Hey hey! Apologies for the delayed reply! We haven't professionally tested that change, so we can't advise it. If you have additional questions please don't hesitate to reach out to our Customer Experience team at - info@radpowerbikes.com.
I want one
Can the forks be replaced with aftermarket suspension, such as RockShox?
Hey hey! Sorry about the delay! If you're still wondering, we cannot professionally recommend that switch since we haven't tested another 3rd party fork on our ebikes.
@@RadPowerElectricBikes - It seems the question is more useful when worded - "Are your Fork Dimensions Different anyway or anywhere from Standard?"
Are these back ordered???
The RadMission is available for preorder and will begin shipping in October!
Nova bike!
What song is playing?
High Wire by Ma Baker
I got no balance Can you add trailing wheels to this ?
I now have the urge to see someone go 20 Mph with training wheels.
@@beefoprime8254 actually I realized tricycle is the best way and most economical way to do it.
@@vahid-T a cycleboard rover is the answer to your problem I imagine.
@@GingerOnWheels actually I think I go with a electric tricycle , I can cycle or when I get tired I go electric. But the only thing is car rack which is available but a bit pricey
Assembly?
Hello hello! Apologies for the delay! If you're still wondering, you can look into assembly options here - www.radpowerbikes.com/pages/mobile-service.
Only 250w?
500w
I read 500 watts
How much mph
20 Mph 😁
20 mph!
This bike comes without KICKSTAND (additional 15eur in Germany). Are you serious?!
Need to understand the "geared hub motor". Not quite clear when they say this is a single speed bike. So this is a flat lands bike?
Geared hub motor means that the motor wheel is "freewheeling" when rolling (no drag like non-geared hub motor), it doesn't have multiple gears for different gradients/speeds, so yes, it is more of a flatland bike.
Dont you think 10 more gears would be better...?
this is an entry level e-bike with a motor-assist, the gear is not a must in most city, you just need to activate the throttle when going uphill. I have a RadRover Step Thru 1 with 7 gears and I seldom change the gear. I played with the throttle.
@@dgtran That may be Panda, but the gear you stick with me be higher/lower than the fixed gearing. I have a Radcity 3 that is mostly left in gear 5 unless I'm on a long down slop where I may be in 6 or 7. On the flip side, 5 may be too high for hills even with pedal assist. Regardless, I'm thinking of getting one of the "Missions" and giving I a tryout. Rad says they take the bike back with the millage less than 10 and no damage/scratches.
Is anybody in Ontario, Canada interested in new, in box, front basket (with headlight extender) Tie straps, kickstand, and rearview mirror? Reply with your contact, and I can send more info, photos, etc.
If it's good enough for Oprah it's good enough for me.

I'll stay Rover
Xanadu,
Ok ok
if they'd make a geared version I'd buy one
The RadMission 1 is a single-speed ebike, but the majority of our other models feature 7-speed gears! 😎
@@RadPowerElectricBikes I've seen the other models. I love the simplicity and practical design of the mission. If you made a geared version it'd be perfect!
Thanks for the feedback! We're always looking to innovate! Feel free to sign up for the newsletter on the website to stay in the loop. 😎
@@RadPowerElectricBikes so basically what I'd like to see is a bike with the simplicity and functionality and price point of the mission but jist with gears.
if a person wanted to couldn't they just add gears?
Looks good, ALMOST got one, but it's another "american" company that does all the manufacturing in china. So that's a hard pass.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to go offroad like showed in this ad with these badboys. They don’t have springs installed! You’ll damage the frame in no time going that hard. Just take it to the less challenging offroad paths where less pressure is gently put on the frame.
This is not the right way to advertise it like that. But I like the idea.
