    It's so nice to learn the meaning behind this song. I've been singing it for years but never knew what the words meant. This adds a whole new dimension of appreciation to this song. Thank you again, you're adding so much value to my musical journey through these generous tutorials. Many blessings ❤

    Please please have a lesson for my favorite Hawaiian song, “Hawaii 78”. No one else has this lesson, except one guy who only shows how to pick the beginning. I’m begging you to show it all! Thank you so much.

    Hey Harry, I am so pleased to hear your songs. When I lived in Hawaii I always heard your videos to get into Aloha mood, after classes. After returning to Brazil I shared the hawaiian spirit but also I tried to show them, through your songs, how that feels like...
    Very deep hawaiian feeling comes back when I hear you saying and explaining reason why songs were made...

    Thanks for the story. I’m learning this song for my kid’s hula troupe, and the lyrics are all in katakana Japanese, so it has been rendered kind of meaningless.

    Can you play this on the sorphano size?

    • @Harrysguitar
      @Harrysguitar  Před 8 lety +1

      Yes! The 3 smaller sizes of ukulele is the soprano,concert and tenor and are tuned the same. GCEA
      Even the 6 string or 8 string like the one I play. You can play and do exactly the same on the baritone ukulele but it will sound lower in pitch and the chord names will be different. Keep watching and I hope that helps! :)
