I watched her interview with Soft White Underbelly. She is very well-spoken. Thank you for having her as a guest.
That was a good one!
@@michaelfranzese we want one on one setting in the studio 💔
Lol she's a nut job
I watched her interview with Soft Underbelly. I like both of yours energy 💕. It was a pleasure listening to you both. Thank you Sending Blessings from California. Sto Lat 💕🥂
I seen that one as well!
I've said this on another video but in my opinion Michael Franzese is the Godfather of social media.😉👍
@@michaelfranzese you educate us each week, thank you for sharing your views and wisdom
Trauma as a young child is extremely difficult but for many it can make some of us good people. I feel that is why she has such a kind soul. Love the interview.
The Chin is one of my Top 5 gangsters of all time! An original, very shrewd. Great interview, I was riveted. No racket like the sleazy government!
Michael has grown from a Wiseguy into a
Wise MAN 🙏💜🙏💜🙏
Good for you Mike for not being afraid to speak out about what government is doing today. Love you buddy.
I remember seeing Rita in the visitation room in the feds, visiting her father. Also sat for lunch with Mr Gigante on the day of 9/11. Only time i ever seen him distraught.
Picking up other people energy I can relate that's something I also can feel and she's right 💯
the Chin was the man. his men hardly ever got caught on wiretaps and his crew never snitched. You got to love the Chin the most powerful man in new york
I remember as a kid in the late sixties my grandfather was a numbers guy for chin in greenwich village Manhattan Benny eggs used to come to their apartment on McDougal st. I used to go to the triangle club on Sullivan st. With my grandfather
I remember your Grampa, he had a clubfoot and drooled from the mouth.
So sad and tragic. The horror growing up in these families. God bless Rita.
U know what’s the coolest thing about u Franzese..is that u always talk about ur father and I really really respect that
Loved the interview michael lets her talk unlike most people that interview people
Thank you, Mr. Franzese! Rita looks just like my Mom & talks with the accent that my Mom's best friends had so this was very special! God bless Rita for helping people & God bless you, as well.
No wonder your dad skipped out on her.
RITA Is SUCH A DOWN TOO EARTH WOMAN!! I spoke with her on a text message…. But it felted as if I knew her my whole life ……we talked alittle an as we parted she said I hope I here from you again 💯👍❤️🍷……I wish you the BEST Of LUCK Rita in anything you do in life!!!
Rita is a unique powerful person.
One of the best, honest interviews, discussion I have seen for a long time.
Very good interview Mr. Franzese. The thing that I took away from this is that people go through so many things. It doesn’t matter if your black or white Jew or Gentile, humans have traumas. Mental health is real and alive.
Mark Bailey
What I love about you is that you reply to your fans, and don’t try to act all Hollywood, wish you nothing but sucess and prosperity , god bless you big man🙏🏽
thats our wiseguy micheal all mobsters are like that
The irony is that he didn't reply to you
@@michaelsuder486 it’s all gd I still wish him nothing but success and prosperity, you also
Mr. Franzese, you are a blessed man,,,
@@michaelfranzese Thanks Boss for all you do and your reply. You made my day. Look forward to trying your wine product soon and have high expectations!
Rita is definitely her dad's child she is strong with independent thought of her own and like the chin she forged her own destiny and picked up only the good things that's made her who she is today
This is massive thank you Michael for the sit down
Oh my goodness, yesterday I said to my partner that there isn’t an interview with Michael Franzese and Rita Gigante on CZcams. And then looked today and found this! Thank you Michael!
Still can’t believe Chin was behind the Frankie DeCiccio hit 😪. That was ruthless
Mr franzese you never seem to fail she's a very well spoken lady I love every video but I really enjoyed this one love from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪
It was fantastic! Her dad must have been brilliant.
Chin was a brilliant mind… we need more capi like him..
Rita was a great guest for the show.Rita sure had a new prospective to the life. Mr. Franzese good show ,thanks for shedding the light on a difficult subject.
I can't tell you why , but Vincent Gigante was my absolute favorite Mafia Boss .
Like Miss Rita , I too have the gift.
And I sensed that The Chin was the best of the Mafia Dons .
I could feel his complexity . Brutal and Ruthless , and he had a fanatical aspect to him . But I can also sense that he had a caring and compassionate side to him .
He was also very very brilliant .
There was a great deal of moral goodness to him. He was charitable , and a devout Catholic , and most importantly , he was never greedy . I can sense a very strong spiritual connection between this father and daughter . A connection that continues to this day.
She may not believe it , but I think she inherited her psychic gifts from him. I say , this because this psychic ability is strong in the family . It comes from his mother's side of the family .
😂He's brutal and ruthless and caring and compassionate
These women are nuttier than squirrel shit
I have that gift too. Im happy Michael was willing to have her on speaking about her abilities.
These interviews are always so much more than mob stories. You can always take good lessons from these. 👌👌
I agree
Michael this one will be absolutely EPIC. He’s always someone I’ve been fascinated with. Congratulations on another fantastic interview! Greetings from Glasgow Scotland 🏴
Hi to Glasgow from Birmingham 🙋♂️
@@petewhitmore7668 hi to Birmingham from Liverpool
One of my favourite sit downs really enjoyed this 1 👏🏴
@@petersothern2909 Hi Liverpool. Noticed we have the same first name. Quick qestion, do you prefer Pete or Peter?
@@michaelfranzese Michael, see if you can interview Al Capone's grand niece. Her name is Diedre Capone. I think people would be interested. I think her book was called something like "My Uncle Al". This is from a website about her: "Today, Deirdre is a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren are aware of her family’s past, but this wasn’t always the case. Persecuted for her family ties as a child and young adult, Deirdre chose to hide her true family name from everyone but her husband, Bob, for many years. Now, Deirdre publicly acknowledges her identity and seeks to share her story as the last Capone." WOW ! That's an interesting story !
Michael I spoke to you in the UK after one of your talks in a "mini sit down". A great honour and thank you for yourself and this fine lady Rita Giganti for showing the way for people who may feel lost in these very difficult times. We know the true enemy. God bless.
I love Rita and Michael. Both of you are Awesome Beautiful People. ❤️💙
I'm surprised that Chin's daughter would be so outspoken considering the fact that there are still Gigante family members in the Genovese family! Chin was a secretive old school boss, and the Genovese family took on his personality as the most low key and secretive crime family in La Cosa Nostra.
Michael, I’ve watched all your sit-downs but I have to admit your best guests are New Yorkers, hands down! I’m very impressed with your uncanny ability to listen and concentrate. You let your guests speak then ask pertinent questions. Again, congratulations to you, the family, and your team for reach the 1 million subscribers’ mark. Imagine, 2 million at the end of 2023! God bless!
Second this. His interviewing skills are wonderful. I see so many others still learning to hold their tongue while interviewing, not as fun when they cut them off so often.
I find Rita a bit silly on some things, though all in all, a joy to see she's made it to your show. Her dad raised a solid woman.
Vincent Gigante loving 'Shawshank Redemption' is very pleasant surprise for me. I love that movie too.
Scorcese should make a movie about Chin....I think it would be the best mob movie ever...
"There's always another side to a story." That's true. Every person in a family sees the family from a different perspective and all perspectives are valid and should be heard.
This interview is incredible to listen to. Chin was a legend. To hear little tidbits about him personally is something. His daughter is very well spoken. We need a part 2!!
What an incredible interview with a fantastic courageous woman. I am also from a Napolitano background on
my fathers side. My mother was a beautiful French woman and she use to tell me she learned a lot from my
fathers seven sisters, especially about family values.
No way, you interviewed Rita Gigante ? Awesome and incredible !!
This is superb!
One daughter and one son of two of the most legendary Bosses of all time. I always followed the history of The Chin but hearing daily life things from Rita is just another level of insight.
Many thanks Michael 🙏
her opening statement regarding her sensitivity and empathy was immediately relatable. acknowledging this perspective creates even more interest into her experience and “the life”
Such a human interview, filled with honesty and vulnerability, and please don't mistake opening up on your vulnerability as being weakness, it's actually the very definition of strength
Well said my fine human, very well said. JD
Love Rita! Very genuine, caring and giving woman. Rita has a true compassion for others. She is a very kindhearted person that will go out of her way for another. Above all, Rita is true to herself and that is what makes her such an exceptional human being. Rita has overcome so much and she triumphs!
I like Rita. I'm not the biggest fan of the psychic stuff but she's lived an interesting life no doubt.
Thank you Rita for sharing a little girl's point of view😊happy that you're happy
Michael Beautiful video thank you for having Rita on she's beautiful thank you for sharing your best friend 👍
Rita is so soft spoken given her upbringing and what she was exposed to as a child. Imagine being the child of the most respected, most feared, mysterious mob bosses ever. I don't think the feds even have a recording of Chin discussing mob business.
The man was slick
I have always appreciated her. She seems genuine. I have listened to her interviews and she doesn’t take any shot from anyone
Violence between parents or in the family is devastating to young minds.
wow, 5 years old. Some ppl wouldn't do this in front of a child, but we didn't know about trauma. That was quite an introduction to that life
Maaaannnnnn, Mike, this is as powerful aa it gets...... You are doing some great stuff man.... Rita and I are the same age.... I cant imagine living with that "pressure"....... Ima black man so having to bow to bs can be an upheaval to who you are/or to become...... I commend both of you.... It takes much much courage.......
Love this channel! Michael is a wise man love listening to him.
So Spot on about this horrendous criminal government we have. What a great interview with Rita Gigante Mike, looking forward to buying her book.
Honestly mike I think I speak for the majority of us WE NEED more of these type of interviews! Bless you mike!
My heart goes out to this woman. My father wasn't in the mafia but his father was a rum runner many years ago and spent time in prison for killing a man. My late father was very physically abusive and an alcoholic but he joined AA and was sober for the rest of his life. You never really get over that kind of trauma but I learned to forgive my father which was very healing for me and I pray for him daily. He also had a very physically abusive childhood as well. Imagining him as a little boy suffering abuse was also helpful for me. I also got my love for the Rosary and Our Lady from my father. I'm sure Our Lady interceded for her father at the hour of his death since he was so devoted to her. I'm also sure he loved his daughter very much but he probably experienced himself as a very wounded person which accounts for his ability to "feign" mental illness for so long. Lastly, I'm also sure he prayed even more than 5 Rosaries a day while in prison.
I had a very similar background as your dad. I quit the booze (AA) 10 years ago. Life is wonderful now, not that I deserve it. The promises came true and it saved my life. Now I spend my waking moments making up for the damage I caused. I know I never will but, salvation is in the seeking of it, not the finding of it. Blessings.
I am very cynical but I saw her on SWU and was knocked out by her story she is an incredible person.. could not stop listening to her describing her life. All Blessings!
Rita is a very good person. Kind and very compassionate person. Enjoyed listening to her story.
I saw her interview on SWU and commented I’d love to see yous sit down together and here we are!!
So glad yall two got together to do this. Prayers for both of your healing.
Wow! Great interview
besides the part where she said she’s not a believer of Hell just cause you’re not a believer doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist HELL does exist and EVERYONE who does NOT repent of their sins to Christ Jesus WILL 100 percent go there!
Cool history, there. She is also an interesting person, and daughter of fascinating man. He was also used as an inspiration for Tony Soprano, if I am not mistaken.
Wow that’s very deep. Your Father is talking to you. ❤️💙🙏
Dolce bella Vicini intresa nel proggeso👌🙄👍💯🙏🎯💝
Beautiful interview
Very interesting to hear her speak. The Chin is a Legend.
One of the best ever sit downs. I never knew Rita before this, but got huge respect for that woman. She is both intelligent & kind. 🙏
Wow, that was quick. I read about her book, and next thing I know, you have her on your show👏
Yes, how did the families balance their faith with crime and killing. Such an enigma. Love you Michael.
Much like politicians do I suppose
You see it a lot. A lot of ex criminals become born again. I don't believe in Psychics for 1 sec, they con people.
Absolutely loved this interview! Two wonderful people. ❤
great interview, she seems like a great person and the connection between you was palpable. i love that she doesnt try to hide her accent like some new yorkers do. also congrats to the 1 million subs!
You can't hide your accent
but a lot of people really try to, especially southerners@@WORKSbaby
Excellent interview. I saw Rita recently & I give you & her so much credit for surviving & thriving after being in your situations. It can’t be easy growing up like that. I’ve survived my own similar traumas. God bless. May He shine His light on both of you 🙏
What a beautiful, kind soul she is.
That was a nice sit-down, great vibe. Rita seems like a really nice and interesting person, and she has a super beautiful accent.
Enjoyed that so glad she has her own path. Spituual as well 👍🙏
The "Chin" Gigante was my favorite of the bosses. Such a great video! 🤔👍
My Grandpa pulled boiling water off the stove when he was a toddler. He had scars all down his arm, neck and back. We lucked out. I miss him though.
Great interview Michael.
Om. 🕉️
I just said they haven’t spoke on him that much you was a true master at the game
THANK YOU MICHAEL AND RITA FOR THIS GREAT INTERVIEW! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rita is such a genuine person. A quality which is rare these days. She never deviates away from talking about her life with her father in interviews. Let’s be honest here she could easily start reeling off stories about her fathers associates, and her fathers family and their history with the mob. She instead sticks to her father, the man many recognise but very few actually ‘knew’. Great interview, and I like your connection, relaxed and easy! Only person I have seen you this relaxed with is during your chats with Chaz.
This really was a beautiful interview; thank you for doing it. My Mother shared a lot of family secrets with me. After her passing, I found out they were all true and then some. My grandfather, her Father, was James LaPenna, bootlegger and Majestic Theatre producer. Lived in Brooklyn, NY and Palm Springs Florida. His family Immigrated from Italy: he began as a bartender, was in Vaudeville with my grandmother - then real estate mogul and theatre producer, and ended up on the infamous Johnny Torrio big trial; FBI file and all. Then Al Capone took over. Grandpa LaPenna was a wonderful man and helped so many people and other family's. The 1929 Great Depression left him and my grandmother with nothing. Their marriage is movie worthy 📽🎬 she lived until 99 years old; he did not live as long, most likely for putting up with her shenanigans. But it's all good. My Mom loved him dearly ❤
Thanks for this interview, Michael. What a cool lady and what a life!
finally with rita gigante interview thanks been asking for months for this god bless be safe watchen right now!!!!!!!
Powerful interview I believe Chazz should play a lead role as Vinny the Chin RIP
2nd time hearing Rita, she’s a very healing person to listen to😇
Thanks for sharing Rita.
Stay safe. 👏🏿
Michael, I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. Rita, in all her generosity was willing to meet up with me in the tri cities just to help me with my diabetes and to heal myself after I relocated to the Midwest. I myself have the gift of claircognizance, and Rita is so very interesting and inspiring. Rita is such a gem.
Thanks again, Michael.
I'm not sure why anyone would think that he wasn't the man. If you look in a person's eyes 👀 you can see if they're in there. The Chin is definitely a Legend even up here in the great north. Great interview, thanks so much. Peace 😎 ✌️
People with life’s most would not begin to comprehend including myself. Thank you for bringing the family impact of the life to our consciousness.
I really appreciate you bringing to light the fact that the life isn't all glitz and glamor. As Rita said, to stay under the radar, her father might as well been in prison. Nothing fun about that life.
They just thought they were getting over the system by not working a regular job n they have little respect for working people. Imo
Godfather of Harlem is such an entertaining show.
Good health and long life to both of you.
All the stories about the scratch on the jaw guy are great.. I'm pretty sure without a doubt her father was very proud of her and loved her very much that's a definite. I love New York City and everybody that lives there I have a passion for the city.
Wow! What a great interview!
God bless her. Eventually she had a rough upbringing but made her life a positive one. Inspiring. Vincent Gigante was one of a kind. Keep bringing these interviews.
Hi Michael. Wow, what a beautiful and very interesting person, Rita is.What a life, what a story. I've always wondered about a baby in the womb, whether he or she is aware, or takes on and carries good or bad situations that happen. She confirmed it for me.
It was heartwarming and encouraging to hear that she took control of her life at 19 and came through it.
I could listen to Rita all day.
Many thanks to you, Michael, and to you, Rita. As always, dear brother this video was excellent.
Blessings and good health to you and to Rita. Have a great weekend ahead.
She has a very open smile, likeable.
Great interview Ms Gigante is so well adjusted for going through so much. Michael you are a great listener! Usually people have a need to be heard and dont listen..
GREAT INTERVIEW ❣️
Chin is a fascinating guy
