Wow! I remember this! This is a gem of an upload. I went to The Frontier most weeks for about 5 years and this was the best performance I ever saw there... The Nolans quite unexpectedly turned a night club into a concert that night!! The only time I ever saw an act grab the club's whole attention.
Bonnie had a damaged voice and struggles with live singing, she tries still. However Bernie could belt normally she didnt have any damage. However without the damage Bonnie wouldn't have had the rasp that made its a heartache or total eclipse famous and launched her career.
From the beginning, this song should have been handed over to Bernie, not Bonnie. Bernie's phenomenal voice was the only one which could crack the hard shell of this song. I feel sorry that the Nolans was not in the main league of the pop music back then, despite their wonderful talent.,
