Thank you for sharing this talk. This man is a well of wisdom, but he is also an hypnotic speaker who transmits that wisdom like no one else. As an agnostic but respectful of all beliefs, I wish the mainstream Christian view would take a cue from Dr. West. The only thing that bothers me is that he continually refers to the U.S.A. as America. America is much more than the United States.

Can you explain what does it all means, when we complaining about the same damn things. That we taken part of leading the way, when the ones we blame is nowhere in sight. That the entertainers pushing destruction for organization so we can like, the stupid ass life we learn to call it rigt. So what does it all means, when the mind is lost and proud to represent the insane. Ask yourself what would you do if you was not a part of that predicament. Would you give out more to be used the same way, or bring in better education that you see the ones who got it still could not find their way. Or would you start scheming to eliminate them because you see their leaders love to see them that way. Can you look at the picture as the way it is, not the one that reality know you can't make it happen that way.
I myself believe philosophy push to.many things in people life they did not want in their mind to follow the concept the philosophers convinced the system to force on the people. Not saying it's wrong, but saying there's a place for things to shape the minds in time, but not by force, only by the minds adjusting to it. If one can't come to the adjustment, then shall it be, as long as it will not interfere with others life.
i think if Dr. West could drop the religiously or "spiritually" inspired comments (or even platitudes) that he sprinkles into his talks, that his impact would truly be monumental...

If you grasped the meaning of the cliche maybe it's up to you to bring the materiality to ethereal ideas. What you doin'? The philosopher is rarely the soldier. Maybe you dat dude.
