I wounded up in a shelter in Phoenix a few yrs back and there with me was a young blk woman with two little girls who had two masters degrees..So Tim is absolutely right when he says degrees didn't propel us.
The fact that you have a university master's degree does not guarantee anyone's success, to begin with everything depends on the career you studied and the demand in the labor market for said career, in that sense an engineering career is not the same as the garbage of studies of gender or political science, companies prefer to hire people without children, did you ask that woman if she used drugs? there are many reasons why that woman could have ended up in such a situation, but for the idiots she is because of racism

I did build a company where the majority of the profits were rewarded to the employees for 18 years. When I offered the employees control of actually running the company; they refused out fear of being accountable. In the end, they just wanted to remain being employees. Good luck to you!

That's the single biggest reason why poor white conservatives seem unable to prioritize their own self-economic interests. They've been put in a tight psychological box where they're currently struggling between voting in favor of their economic self-interests (with the requirement of doing it alongside liberals - who they've been conditioned to hate through systematic propaganda - and alongside minorities - who they constantly fear catching up to them). It's a remarkable paradox they find themselves in. They're constantly yelling at minorities to pull themselves up by the bootstraps, and when minorities do, they fight like hell to knock them down a peg or two.

Vice and Paradise , actually badly applied tax cuts cause economic disparity. For example, you give a large corporation a tax cut. They are inclined to keep those saving and post them on there balence sheets as profits in order to bulster there stock price (if publicly traded or as profit if not.) Now give those same tax cuts to a section of the population that has to spend that money the our consumer driven economy will get a boost in proportion to the size of the cut.

Which means to ensure security and survival one must destroy the competition. Where this can't happen you collude to destroy all outside the collaborating corporations. So, an oil company, supplying oil to a transport company will seek to take over that transport company, then the lorry manufacturers, then the shops then farms. It good business practice to survive. As an American, I voted for Obama twice. I voted for change. That promise was only realized on a fractional level at best. Most importantly, rather than celebrating a historic milestone and going out gracefully, Obama chose to interject himself into the Travon Martin case. Instead of calling for unity, he let our party fracture the Occupy movement along racial divides. It was disheartening when the fringe of my party blamed me for everyone's problems because of my skin color and the fact I have a penis.
Then came Trump. He broke all the norms of the traditional candidate, like Obama before him. Trump was an even bigger underdog because he doesn't nearly have the articulate political savvy of Obama. American's love the underdog as a matter of historical fact. Interestingly enough, the same people accusing Trump and his supporters of blatant racism are the ones who went hat in hand to Trump during 80s and 90s for political contributions.
The reason he won and will win again is because, people on the left, people like Tim, want to weaponize race as a means to a political end. Before Trump, politicians on both sides agreed we needed tougher border enforcement. Now, that's somehow considered racist? With such transparent hypocrisy, how are you surprised that people voted for Trump, not because YOU say they MUST be racist, rather in spite of your accusation. They wouldn't be bullied or guilted into electing a criminal because she has a vagina. It's because they know the system is inherently broken. Trump's presidency is breaking the wheel and has shown ALL Americans who the true domestic terrorists really are. It's those same people telling you your neighbor hates you and you're a victim simply because of the color of your skin.
