A true farmer. Oh look at the funnel cloud. Oh look at that canola.😅
That's a tornado funnel! If it touches down (and destroys property) it's an 'official' one. :) (they categorize them by level of damage).
Reading storms --- The line of storms you can see in your excellent photography indicates a 'squall line' - if it's moving towards you - start thinking about a nearby basement to shelter in (nearest neighbour).
Best.
Smart Move to Get the Chopper and Protect your Outstanding Crops!
Amazing that you caught the tornado starting to form. Wow!
That’s the first time I’ve ever seen something like that, let alone caught it on video 😂.
I think that was a great decision to bring in a big chopper 😊
lol that last 30 seconds of video has to be the most canadian thing ever :)
GOOD AFTERNOON 👍
With the shear volume of crop you are cutting this year and the problems you are having with the swather, I can only imagine the level of frustration Jan is having trying to chop it all. Perfect year to bring in the big guns! I would have loved to see the Claas in action with my own eyes.
Cool/scary tornado. Love how you can see the rain miles away! NICE chopper! Great job on the fall rye😊
Your brother said yall were trying to build up a 2 year supply of feed, this should really help. Great videos.
It’s always nice to see other people helping out with harvesting haylage
This year you have a bumper harvest of rain.
The size of those swathes seen from the air is amazing.
I am so glad that you're able to get that winter rye crop in that is such a huge bonus to your farm operation ❤❤❤
Good Morning Ladies!! Let's get the day started!!
Hope those storms do not hurt anyone.
Good morning, in the morning!!
Cheers from Edmonton.
I think with size of the harvest makes calling in custom work was a good idea. At some point you will fall too far behind with a smaller chopper.
prairie weather, as beautiful as it is powerfull. Thanks for sharing.
The power of nature is just Incredible. East coast of Canada here we don't get tornados but we've had very destructive hurricanes In 2003 my neighbor that had 4, 90 foot tall tower silos two of them empty to fill with corn the next week blew down onto the milk barn demolishing the barn killing 10 cows and injuring 9 more so bad they had be euthanized. And fear traumatized 7 more to the point they had to be put down And a dozen more injured but recovered. Somehow 55 other cows were uninjured speculation was they were laying and didn't get up as quick the other ones as the barn roof and silo fell n them , and the stall dividers took the debris impact is what saved them.
That is a horrible story… glad 55 cows survived. I would not have thought that severely traumatized cows would need to be put down… I’m sure PTSD impacrs animals top.
@@billinburlington5507 to be clear the ones in fear weren't just put down they were shipped for processing like you do any dairy cow that's no longer milked, all the surviving cows went to two neighboring farms for about year to be milked. Since the barn had to be cleaned up and build a new one. They had been so shocked they were so afraid of people even it was impossible to get them through the milking parlor without them spooking and spooked cows bolt and run and once one does every cow in the barn will so it was keeping the entire herd freaked out at milking time which is big problem so they just shipped them for processing.
When’s your wedding will we get to see any of it we enjoy your videos from Ottawa ontario canada 🇨🇦
WOW Nice job 🤗🤗🤗 Thank you! (N.G Ind)
Great Video!
Oh my you are even a storm chaser! 🌪️⛈️ I hope this crazy weather doesn’t affect the crops this year after such a great start. Take care
Looks like the field work is coming along nicely.
Add little tornado with a little bit scary it might get bigger glad you're safe sorry you're having to work such long days
thank a farmer 🎉🎉❤❤❤😊
👍👌❤️🇨🇦, very exciting video
Nice twister footage! It looked like a sidewinder there for a bit. Glad it didn't fully form or touch ground. Another great video! Thanks and Cheers!
That looked scary for a minute. Awesome drone footage!
Looks like Nice Feed!
Good decision bringing a SP Chopper, they are deigned for high capacity....you have a good bumper crop sooooo get it in FAST 👍👍
Hope your brothers doing well how come he’s not been posting lately all good though hope you and your brother are doing good stay safe field work season can be dangerous
Canada is one of if not the most beautiful country .😍
It is! I’m thankful to live here!
Yes Canada so much to offer We just about have everything here ❤
Your cows are always so clean beautiful girls❤❤
When is Sas Dutch kid coming back I love his videos??
that tornado would have had me running in a different direction
Normally I would going the opposite direction too, but the crop had to be cut 🤷♀️😂
@@ADairyonthePrairie brave women
I thought we mightily have to call you Dorothy
I take it the swather got it all cut without the chopper waiting.at least the could get someone to come and chopp when you needed them to.
I saw you clean the cows and milking equipment many times. There was an item in the news today that bird flu is transmitted by infected milking machines.
Neline , did you ask the crew that is helping , about the header plugging up at times , two different machines but maybe they can guide you to a solution ?
Get her done with the CLAAS
I was more worried about your windows. That twister to make a real mess of your fields!
I watch Sonne Farms videos in N. Dakota and they had the same rain. You must be close to his area I think that's just weird. When it's time to get the crops in you really work hard and all hours. Plus you'll be taking time off soon too prep for the your wedding ! ❤🎉yay !
Donne Farms is in South Dakota
S
Saskatchewan is a part of the same vast prairie that does in fact include the Sonne guys location in N. Dakota.. and.. Saskatchewan is North and at a higher elevation.. so.. when what is typically a low pressure system that blows in from cooler temperatures in the north.. yes.. the same system finds its way rolling downhill (imagine a slightly tilted pool table rather than a hill) into N.Dakota. Not all that weird if you can visualize it
Sonne Farms is located in SOUTH DAKOTA not North Dakota
@@chuckwuttke3121 okay.. thanks for the correction
Do you not use the big new holland tractor to pack the silage?
No. They prefer the powershift transmission of the Case wheel loader.
translation "freaking Toni' fat rain drops per transcript? lol
A freaking “Toonie” lol. It’s our $2 coin. It’s about 28 mm in diameter.
How many more acres and tons can the self-propelled dropper work then the pool type that you have?
💪💪💪❤❤❤❤
How many acres of ride did you do? That's a big big field
What happened with Jan why isn’t he making any videos of silageing
That weather was horrifying. Glad you did not get that on the farm!
Could you plant another crop and would it be ready B4 freeze up
A couple of months ago, they planted barley in other fields. As well as a small test plot of triticale.
🇨🇦😊
❤❤👍👍✌️
Do you get tornados in your area?
Where is your brother???
❤#🇵🇰
Know you are getting married but I say your a sharp looking lady
