Under the concrete slab you may have to pack it with semi dry concrete or lean-mix to keep it secure Neline ,obviously putting some polystyrene over the pipe so the frost doesn't affect the pipe, great video as always, have a great week ahead.

Great post as usual, Neline! 😊Found an article that said that this is the wettest year in Saskatchewan in over 100 years!❗ Not surprised the ground is moving around a bit from your waterline excavations. Good luck with your goat sale.

Sinkholes - it seems you are frustrated, but be happy with the rain as the water going thru the ground will settle the fill. It should have been compacted when you were backfilling after installing the water lines, but such is the situation. I would fill back and compact with a drum roller unit with 'nibs' on it to do some extra compacting. A vibratory unit will also help. There may be a unit you could tow with a tractor. Good luck!

When you get the time to finish up the back filling of the water line I would suggest renting a jumping jack compactor and using it to pack the soil. The best way is to back fill the holes/trench a layer of soil at a time, compact, rinse and repeat.

Great video, Neline! Loved the footage of the sky while driving. I hope you have luck selling the goats you mentioned. You gotta do what you gotta do regarding your business plan/idea for your goat herds. Does this mean you'll acquire more? Everytime your videos include footage of your Nigerians out at your place, I always look for Whimsy. :) It's kinda like "Where's Waldo..." but way cuter. :) I hope you get the sinkholes fixed up proper. Cheers to you and I hope you get some downtime soon. :)

Hi Neline....there is one suggestion for sink hole issue. I'll make a second suggestion : As a retire produce specialist in the farm machinery business ( don't like repeat repairs) start over fill sink holes pack down good. Break up concrete base start over. pack down TIGHT !!!! Replumb water unit pour a new base. This just a suggestion do as you see fit. Your videos are always good Bye.

Don’t feel bad about reducing your herd to specialize. Can’t keep them all.

Sorry you're having so much trouble with those sinkholes you sure didn't need that now we're just wondering if you're only raising goats to breed and sell and there will not be much milking
