I'm not saying this is everyone that shares this opinion, but I find it amusing that there's a lot of complaints about the pricepoint on a MiUK NB shoe with a colorway that is frequently compared to a certain yeezy 700. Not sure those same people balked at the similar price of yeezy 700 models that were largely manufactured in China.
So lucky you were able to cop these beauties! I didn’t think it would be that hyped to fly like crazy. But I’m waiting/hoping for another release. Only shoe I’ve been so geeked out to get this year…
They were on Kith for awhile unless you were a size 11.5 or higher. And on the NB site for awhile as well but they dropped them at midnight. If any other boutiques drop them and you find out early you shouldn’t have a problem. People are reluctant to buy these because of the price
Hey Vin if you have a local NB Factory Store (outlet store) near you or a NB Flagship store near you can ask them to order the shoe for you, I know size 11 they have one left to order as their were only 3 left when I ordered my pair. (NB Franchise Stores cannot do orders so make sure you go to the right location near you.)
The funny thing is that I checked Kith right after I saw my size 9.5 was sold out, I even can fit a size 9 usually in NB's but they were also sold out everywhere. I will keep on searching, and yes the $250 price point is high but for a great colorway and NB quality, it's a must cop. Thanks for the info!@@commentator2.0

NB site drop time was lame. The midnight launch screwed me as I was asleep for work at 5am. Purchased my pair at 6:10am for them to send me an email 8hrs later saying my item was out of stock. Smh. Said 8pairs left in stock too when I placed my order 😂. Great cop though. I had to do some scouring but did manage to get myself a pair for $50 over US retail price. Weird they are not on StockX or Goat at all.
I'm sooo mad NB cancelled my order 😢 I'm obsessed with this pair, I need a size 12 so I hope they restock. Edit : I manage to cop on a restock from NB French website. Love em !

I don't think NB made a lot of these since it was stealth dropped and they canceled quite a few orders according to Reddit. It wasn't on NB's release calendar and boutiques just quietly listed them as available. Every boutique I know of is sold out in all sizes. Good luck to those on the hunt. $250 is steep, but this is one of the few sneakers I'd say that it's actually worth the cost.

My theory is that they haven't received the whole batch yet, so you might get lucky if you keep refreshing the page. You might find your size restocked.
These are my first 991 and I went down half a size. Glad I did. I have normal width feet and also go down half a size in 550's. These are 🔥 and definitely a top 5 SOTY!!

In terms of breaking in yes that’s true in my case I do own 3 pairs of 990v6 but after wearing grey 991v2 for about a month they did break in and I do prefer to wear them way more than 990v6
This shoe makes me want to go buy the 990 V2 in the gray green and maroon multicolor colorway. The one that you picked is your favorite new balance of the year that year those things are crazy underrated.

Size 13 is very hard to come by in this color. I'd love the Rosewood pair, but haven't found them yet. As a 990v6 enthusiast, I actually find these more comfortable and receive more compliments on this model.

I really wanted these when I first saw a certain pictures but I wasn't sure because other pictures they were so lite. I've been waiting for your review and I'm glad I didn't grab them.. it is a really dope colorway but I really wanted it to be much more darker and saturated. It's very muted and understated which isn't my thing. I guess there was some filters going on in some of the earlier in hands where they looked really dark.... If they would have came out like that I would have been calling them possible sneaker of the year but not so much now. I'm glad you mentioned the Yeezy thing because a lot of the snobs in the Reddit group were trying to say they couldn't see it. I'm more interested in the blue and the orange pair.. that suede looks crazy and the saturation is amazing.
I thought you are not a fan of 991v2 but I guess I was wrong. You just don't like the GR colorways. But great review as always. It's like an NB Yeezy 700 and I kindly like it. I've seen the similarity ever since the og grey colorway. Now this corway really highlights it. Waiting for more 991v2 reviews. 😂. Keep them coming. 😂

I'm just venting here, sorry. 1 Sometimes I feel NB is becoming Nike they know they have a winner so make more, it's a GR. 2. everyone hates NB "old man shoes" but the posers suck em up. 3. I can't keep track of all this anymore LOL 4. these 2 color ways would be fire if done on the 9060 5. most times resale not too bad so if I want I will have to suck it up. That's all I have to say about that. Enjoy life all, its going by fast.

This is NB’s year. This is my 3rd 991v2. Once the grey’s and blue/grey restock in my size I’ll probably grab both pairs.

JJJound Sambas are $250 too. These NBs are actually worth the price.
It's honestly so exciting when you see such a specific colorway translated perfectly across completely different silhouettes. These are beautiful.
