Kith x New Balance 1906R "White / Blue": Review & On-Feet

- Kith recently released two pairs of the New Balance 1906R, in opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to their colour palettes. Today I'll be reviewing the "White / Blue" colourway, which features a white mesh base, silver synthetic layers, and a blue heel cup. Absolutely LOVE the black pair I hit and unboxed last night! I’m not one of the ppl that thinks these are bland, I like the details, and it’s not like they’re crazy overpriced they’re very close to the GR prices. Big fan🔥great review as always!
I am wearing the black pair at work. Definitely comfortable and stylish. Looking forward for the “Black Ice” pair coming out in April!

My first raffle W from Kith. One of my favorite 1906 is the all black upper with the taupe midsole, so I had to go for the black/green pair.

Could you review the new balance 1906 utility Angora with blue laguna and orb pink color way 😁 i feel like this is a pretty sweet GR thats comparable.
Do these fit the same as the ALD 1906r? Noticed they fit a little tighter than a 1906r GR in my opinion so I’m stuck on whether to stick with my true size or go half up like the ALD pair.
I really wanted this pair but I was able to at least cop the black/green pair! Not too bummed about not getting the white/blue pair because there are other similar color ways that will cost way less.
I remember when I caught a sneak peak of them when Ronnie wore them when he was working on his Knicks project when the 990v6 dropped. I kept waiting for these to drop, so I could get them, but the more I kept seeing images of them, my interest in them kept waining. They are a beautiful simple and elegant pair of sneakers that combine the original aesthetic of the 90s running shoe vibe, with a modern twist...but knowing what Ronnie can do when it comes to design and color blocking, it just felt a lil lacking. He went for a subdued, more elegant and classic look, compared to let's say Salehe, and Action Bronson. But I agree that some GRs definitely look similar or in some ways better...like that Lunar 1906 that dropped earlier this year. All that said, still a beautiful spring/summer pair. Definitely waiting for the Bronson Rosewater or green pairs to drop, hope to see those reviews here.

Passed on this as it’s too similar to the Up There pair that I already have - I personally think those are more versatile and cleaner !
Would you say the outfit choice for this pair is versatile?
Really wanted this colorway. Took an L. Grabbed on the secondary market. Excited for them to arrive but not so much now after your review if the quality is that bad
My first raffle L in a hot minute. It was actually kinda surprising. There’s a few GRs that are close enough to this that I think I’ll grab instead.

Got my wife the GR colorway of these. These ones are more dude friendly but not for me. I picked up the New Spruce as my first 1906R. Surprised you didn’t review those

im a vitality level member on kith and lemme just say, these pairs FLEW as soon as early access was released. such a shame
they really did, luckily Canada stock sat a bit longer

Colourway too soft for me due to light tones. Also 225$ plus taxes is pretty steep.
Ah, early access. Explains all the Ls. I'm closing in on the 2nd Tier, but it'll be some time before I hit the 3rd Tier.

In my opinion... up there collab of 1906r looks much better than this one
IMO, all GR color ways look better than both of the kith color ways. Kinda bland and to be honest, 1906s aren’t that comfy compared to 2002rs or v4s
How can a 1906 be less comfy than a 2002 they're nearly identical 😭

@@thomaskingston6187they’re basically the same midsole but the toe box feels tall and sloppy imo on the 1906. Don’t get me wrong. Comfy but feel cheaper quality.
@@thomaskingston6187because of the midfoot area where the lacelock system ties together. This can feel a bit more narrow, also some 1906r in my case my blacķ 1906d has a narrow toebox in comparison to my 2002r's and my white/reflection 1906D

wow i want this to be my first 1906R. But just recently cop the 990v6 sepia orange . my wallet still recovering
