    Nice job ! I have a 65 that was my grandfathers . I also have a 66 that I restored , I am a pro truck painter and body man so I gave my 66 an Axalta Imron Ellite Base clear paint job . I also have a 67 and restored it too Put the three point on both 66 and 67. It made the tractor look great. These tractors are the BEST !

    My son asked if I could look at his wife’s Grand Daddy’s John Deer, it wouldn’t start. As it turns out it was a fuse. He asked me if I knew anything about 1971 sears suburban riding mower. He was in the middle of a restore on his 1971 sears suburban riding mower before he had to have brain surgery. Boy I would love to finish it for him but don’t know much about old mowers.

    That sure is one heck of a nice tractor and that's an understatement! If you put the 3 point on it, maybe you want to put a piece of sheet plastic between the 3 point and the frame to prevent scratches and a washer on the 3 point pin before the lower arm too. Just a thought.

    Get a peace of very thin rubber and cut around the hitch so it won’t scratch the frame of the tractor

    She's a beauty!! I just picked up an 71 SS14 barn find. After letting the cylinder/rings soak for a day, (I didn't know how many years it was sitting, but I was told it was A LOT!!) removed the mouse condo, changed the oil and reconnected the wire on the points, she fired right up. She will be my winter project. Any help on what paint was used on yours, or is that a members only secret!

    Hey, i have acquired, a Sears Suburban tractor that i'm wanting to do a full restoration on, i've narrowed the year down to a 76 model i believe, i'm just not sure of what model, like ss, st, or gt. any help would be appreciated! It does have the Kohler Twin 17hp engine, not the desired Onan.

    • @Chooman69
      @Chooman69  Před 6 lety
