I started thinking about this song when the death of my uncle's anniversary just passed. I haven't heard this song for years and I'm glad my memory sparked this song into looking it up.
This song came in just in time to help me grieve my grandma's passing. This one and UGK's One Day. Songs like these help you realize that others feel or have felt similar pain to what your feeling and can sympathyse. I Love how music helps me release my feelings.
remember when people said royce didn't participate in this song because he didn't have a death story in his family, then years later he released a whole song about his granny dying in the same day his son was born
I don't usually do the back and forth in the comments, but I hope you folks who've been gettin' at me for taking issue with the lyrics in the video, have at least supported, and got the album. I got my copy! I'd say go vote tomorrow (if in the US), but some of you probably have no business being near a ballot! Ok, I'm done.
I'm not hating on the song, I think it's one of the best they ever did together (still disappointed Royce isn't on it). I love it, and I identify with the loss expressed in it. Again, it's not that big of a deal, but... What is disrespectful, is that someone probably got paid a nice little chunk out of these guys' promotional/marketing budget to make this "official" lyric video, and handed in their misinterpretation of some pretty personal lyrics. If u think that's cool, good 4u. I don't.
Well it's nice to see that my English instructor likes Slaughterhouse...maybe I can learn to like your class after all. Although I fail to see how any of my recent postings imply a lack of understanding the English language. And I'm sure you have much better things to do with your time than to read a four page paper, so I'm just going to accept your reply as sarcasm and move on. Although I would like to know why I seem to be the only one whose criticism of the lyrics you replied to.
Of course I don't know what the reasons behind it are, but at first listen, Royce really shit the bed by not coming in with some shit about his dad, or Big Proof even. I dunno, while listening I was intensely anticipating what he had to say. BTW, get that legal shit figured out and come do your show in CALGARY AB, CANADA ya'll. I had so many people pissed when I told em you werent coming till next year.
An official lyric video, with incorrect lyrics??? (e.g. "I Got Groanin" = I Got Grown &..." or "The Flashness Appears = The Flesh Disappears") Still, good song.
This song , Move On , and Truth or Truth are the realest songs by Slaughterhouse
the flesh disappears but the soul survives
One of the best Albums I bought in a long t9ime and this is one of the many great songs on it. Great Job Slaughterhouse.
I cried so hard when I heard this song the first time, like for 20 minutes

Actually yes. I would love one. Will you give me more if I point out the other thousand lyric errors on this video?
there are rumors about him having a verse on this song when the video comes out.
I sent you here!
Nevermind, he also says "beefed that got shot up" while it's beef. And even if he did mean Tec-9, it's not with a K.

does this mean there's an actual video coming
I listen to slaughterhouse for Royce where he at??
Also Tek 9=Tech N9ne, but yeah dope song!
Hye you should both REALIZE it says "The Flash Dissapears the soul survives"
Oh I see, yeah that's a bad mistake. What else is wrong though? At 3:28 it says "Fairwell" instead of "Farewell" I guess.
I thought it was "the flesh disappears but the soul survives" not the "the flashness appears".
"ironic I was on tour with tech n9ne and slaughterhouse"

all the lyrics are correct..........
Of course I don't know what the reasons behind it are, but at first listen, Royce really shit the bed by not coming in with some shit about his dad, or Big Proof even. but they are. Joell went on tour with Tech N9ne, the rapper, not a tek 9, the gun. Right? or is he saying he took a tek with him?
Vinnie Paz - Same Story??
so sad
btw....you spelled Tech N9ne wrong.... still a good video though
Lyrics can't be wrong lol. The people that make this video know the lyrics, so...
Tek 9?! really?
C'Mon Son!
