Actually, they’re pretty boring. Scarlet/Violet speedruns have no glitches that can significantly speed up speedrun time. If that game gets broken, it will be broken how Skyward Sword is broken.

It's worse than that. Apparently the memory leak was left intentionally in the game at launch. Because if they didn't there would have been a chance the game crash any time you enter a battle.

This game is a broken buggy mess, but sometimes broken buggy messes can be absolutely hilarious.
another olive gliding setup can be done when you’re taking on the gym challenge itself. if you defeat one of the trainers to get access to the “shortcuts”, after the battle it should space you perfectly dead on to the olive so that if you mount miraidon without moving, you’ll partially clip into the olive and trigger the glitch

Honestly the title “the most broken Pokémon game ever” isn’t even that accurate, it should be “the most broken Pokémon game yet” because you can bet the next games will be even worse

It's too bad Game Freak already killed my desire to ever buy a new Pokemon game because I would have loved to see some of these for myself, but whatever, I'll let everyone else have fun with it.

There's an exception to the rule of being able to dupe if you stocked up on glitches before the patch: when the dupes just disappear 🙃 not sure how or why that happened, either
When you make it to area zero I was able to glitch out of the map somewhere else and fell down to the water area, where I found a shiny glimmora

Remember the times when big companies published games *AFTER* they finished them?
*the most broken pokemon game on the switch. Nothing will ever beat gen one's very battle mechanics not working; crits being based on speed, psychic types being immune to ghost, any success check that's supposed to be guaranteed having a 1/256 chance to fail (including master balls), to name just a few. For SV the broken accuracy checks are pretty bad but I have faith that'll be patched, other than that the majority of the glitches are just visual and don't really affect the gameplay. Except for models being clipped into the geometry that you either are trying to see or didn't mean to interact with
Just a warning to turn the autosave off when you do the starter skip.
Of course, you cannot enter Mesagoza from the front, but the side entrances allow you to enter. If you have autosave on when entering Mesagoza, then it will save automatically which will cause a softlock since the game things Nemona is awaiting you at the academy.
Imagine making water the bottom layer, it’s like they wanted performance issues
they did it with the likes of BOTW
there are so many games with a floor of water under the map, it doesn't hurt performance if it's culled out when not visible like it's supposed to be, but idk if that's the case with this game lol
Glad I did the item dupe glitch while it lasted, so annoyed I didn't keep a Koraidon clone. I had every ball except the Beast Ball cloned (because I hadn't been able to trade with Scarlet to finish my Dex) and the Beast Ball is the coolest one!

I remember having one of these memory leak glitches where after a few hours my character just wouldn't do facial expressions.
Quite late on in my playthrough of the game, i found a buggy spot on the cliffside of the south-east part of south province. If you had all of miraidon/koraidon's abilites, you could grab on to a buggy part of the clip, and occasionally clip into the wall. Thought i should mention this since it wasnt on the list and its pretty interesting. (you also dont need an encounter for it to work).
It's not as broken as Red and Blue. Beating Red and Blue without encountering any glitches is considered a challenge.
Not a challenge, flat-out impossible. In the opening cutscene a Nidorino is shown, but Nidorina's cry is played

red and blue were made a while ago, but scarlet and violet were made just recently so expectations are definitely higher
@@whyisthisafeature I know the video title makes a very specific, bold claim, but do you really think it's reasonable to compare gen 9 to gen 1? Red and Blue are so glitchy because GameFreak were pushing the boundaries of what could be done at the time. Scarlet and Violet are so glitchy because GameFreak's management didn't give adequate support to the developers in terms of reasonable deadlines, and because the company as a whole is underqualified for what these games are compared to earlier titles.
@@blarg2429 I'm not saying Scarlet and Violet are better than Red and Blue, Scarlet and Violet suck. I'm just saying that beating Red and Blue without encountering any glitches is considered a legitimate challenge.

The school skip glitch I genuinely did day 1. I was playing with my friend and I saw a Maschiff across the way, but I didn’t know what it was at the time, so I was really curious, and I did that and ended up with a Floragato before even making it to the school
the backwards long jump was my favorite to use in game to get to items or Pokémon I wasn’t supposed to until later. I’m still kinda bad at it but I can do it so.
I am curious how speedruns look like in the near future.

Its wild cause I've seen videos of pretty wild glitches. I've owned the game since the 23rd of November and haven't seen anything nearly as bad as that.

I managed to get that first glitch by accident inside the inlet grotto, I battled the houndour in the small opening near the start and it put me out of bounds, I then decided to yeet me and Miridon into the void

This game is very well play tested.
They set a new record previously held by Super Mario Sunshine for buggiest Nintendo game.
I would say the original Gen 1 Pokemon games technically still hold that record, bugs were definitely less noticeable unless you really knew exactly how all of the battle mechanics were supposed to work, but they were quite literally unavoidable.
Whereas in the Switch Pokemon games, the biggest ones are a lot more obvious and noticeable, but also avoidable, so I guess it depends on how you are judging the "bugginess" of a game.
Still waiting any of those bugs to happen to me xD just some fps issues.

I had my flareon randomly appear whilst the cutscene after fighting the last titain was playing
Flareon in the cutscene? I got Cetitan in the Academy Entrance Hall. It also appeared in front of the raid Pokemon in multiple dens.
Your Pokémon can appear in cutscenes if you used Let’s Go mode. As long as they’re battling a Pokémon when the cutscene initiates, they will be there
My Toedscruel appeared in the scene when Penny and Nemona left to chase the Area Zero Pokemon down and it was so funny
My friend bought me the game so we'd see all the funny glitches.
I saw zero during normal gameplay on stream. Played the whole game on stream. Nothing.

Edit: Oh I beat the entire game without my starter as well, just slapped it in the box and used Charcadet instead for a fire type (chose fire croc ofc). Best decision ever tbh

Scarlet and Violet are terribly made games. The performance is awful, and the graphics are even worse. I have 150 hours into Pokemon Violet and I am addicted. Games are badly made, but damn are the fun.
Also I once clipped out of bounds in Area Zero by throwing my Pokemon at an Iron Hands in the wall, and I had to fly out because the walls had two-sided collision.
I love how Scarlet and Violet hearken back to Pokémon’s history. With this one game, we can say that Pokémon has never really left their roots.

Scarlet. It's really easy to tell which version people has because they will either have Koraidon if they have Scarlet or Miraidon for Violet.

Still confused by these. Despite playing on the day 1 release on the 1 gen switch the only 2 things I've had were visual bugs on rocks and 2 crashes. Past that nothing
These glitches look like ones you have to be looking for, so a average player usually won't come into contact with them.

That seems to be a pattern with Fir's videos, early after they're uploaded bots copy comments and then get tons of other bots to like them, but soon-ish after, for some reason all the likes get removed and the bot comments get pushed down to the bottom where they should be.
I have a bit of a theory around the glitches. Now I could be completely wrong but it’s possible that Nintendo saw the outrageous amount of content around security breech’s glitches and how popular the game became because of them and tried to implement the same thing (which, if so, kinda worked)

Most of these aren't even glitches that hinder anyone's experience, to say it's broken is implying that that's a major negative when most people that play, most of these glitches just straight up don't happen, only minor visual glitches at most, I have yet to run into *any* glitch in my 110 hours unless I actively seeked it out
Yeah the real big issue is the framerate.
