I just got the EM925A5A-SS, and I don't hear a fan blowing to keep it cool.
And it has a weird sound when it's on, like a short circuit kind of sound.
Mine is still working fine. Did your other microwaves make similar sounds when in use?

Yes you can.
Is that rattling noise going away after a while? I just got the exact same model and it’s making the same noise, a bit like gears or bearing going bad. I’ve looked at other reviews of this model and they don’t seem to be making the same noise, or at least not as obvious.
It's not something I worry about.
Thanks for the review. I hate microwaves that have those stupid one-touch buttons. 99% of the stuff I cook needs a time that isn't a round number like 1:00, 2:00, etc. That means I have to hit the "cook time" button every single time. I know it's just one more button but it gets old quick. My current microwave does that and it irritates me to no end. Thanks to you I didn't waste my time buying this thing and then having to return it.

Hi. How do you reset the clock? Mine got stuck on 00:00 and I've followed the manual and can't reset the time. I noticed that you used the cook functions and the clock time still stayed. Can you tell me how to fix that please? Thank you!
Does it still display that when you unplug and plug it back in? You will have to Google the model and manual because I'm on vacation and can't access the manual.
I can't even figure out how to set the time of day, on the clock! The special features are so far beyond what I would EVER do, that it is irrelevant.

1. Press "Clock" button once.
2. Enter the time.
3. Press "Clock" button again.
Your good to go...
