  • Clear Aligners can be a very profitable business and they are now yours for the making. This webinar will go over the process of using the 3Shape Ortho System Software to create tooth movements for the purpose of making clear aligners.
    This webinar will go over the process of:
    - preparing the models by making them “watertight”
    - setting up the scans to make the movements
    - the tools used for making the movements
    - outputting the models in each of the different stages for making vacuum forms

    The software offers some attachment options, which can be customized with regard to tilt, size, etc. There is also the possibility of creating specific STLs for the attachment that will be useful to you (in other CAD software), which can be imported into the Orthosystem.

    Hi! Great tutorial and very helpful! I was troubled by missing tooth which is planned to have implant later. How do I create a "tooth-shape" substitute at the missing site, to avoid difficult undercut for aligner fabrication?

    It would be great for 3 shape to make this work, we really need a good library of attachments that’ll be able to automatically generated without spending way to much time trying to design them individually.

    Hello, a question, when I go to adjust the teeth, there is no option where I automatically adjust the teeth so that they are straight and not manually.

    may i ask is it possible to block undercut on the model automatically ? for clear aligner better fitting

    • @WhipMixCorporation
      @WhipMixCorporation  Před 4 lety

      We do not believe there is an option for that as the aligners will need to engage in the undercuts.

      Hi TrungHau. Thanks for watching. (1) Can you clarify what you are looking to do? There's no way to automatically move the teeth that we are aware of.
      (2) There is a tool in the aligner studio called attachments that allows you to add attachments. We recommend contacting your reseller for training on how to use this. If we are your reseller, please email us at productsupport@whipmix.com.

    is it possible to add overcorrection by adding one or two extra subsetups at the end?

    • @brycehiller

      You can do this by either copying a substep as a new setup, or by using the staging and timelines feature.

    • @WhipMixCorporation
      @WhipMixCorporation  Před 2 lety +1

      The workflows are very similar once you get into the actual workflow. Most of the changes had to do with case creation and management. But once you are in the actual workflows they are very similar to previous versions of the software.

      You can work with STL scans only. You do not need the CBCT, but it would be ideal to help locate root information.

    • @WhipMixCorporation
      @WhipMixCorporation  Před 4 lety

      Hi Hector. The CT scan has to come from the doctor. The doctor must have a cone beam imaging scanner and send it to the laboratory.

      @@WhipMixCorporation Thanks, I have another difference between your video and my work. My models don't appear directly in the occlusion position when I import them into the program. How can I fix that ??

    • @brycehiller
      @brycehiller Před 4 lety

      @@hectorllamosas9576 Hi Hector, the solution depends on how your scans were taken. If the scans came from an intraoral scanner, and the bite is off, the bite needs to be corrected in the intraoral scanning software. If you scanned in stone casts, you will simply need to re-scan the occlusion with the correct bite.

      Depends on what kind of treatment you are looking to do. There are design services that will do this work, but this is a small piece of the digital dentistry process. If you are looking solely for design, Evident Designs is a good place to start.

    • @WhipMixCorporation
      @WhipMixCorporation  Před 3 lety

      The only two formats that you can export those aligner models as is either STL or DCM. There are other 3rd party softwares out there that can export files in different formats, however we don't have a recommendation for you. We recommend that you reach out to those 3rd party companies to find out what their software can do.

    • @WhipMixCorporation
      @WhipMixCorporation  Před 2 lety

      This is going to depend on which software package you choose and which equipment is required for your particular setup. If you are in the United States, you can email sales@whipmix.com and a rep will reach out to discuss your options. If you are outside the United States, you will need to contact your local reseller for this information.
