Fun fact: you can clean toddlers and infants in the sinks! There’s a “clean up” option. It doesn’t clean as much as a tub will, but in tiny homes it really helps
Yes!! I keep forgetting that’s a thing!
that’s adorable
I always use this option for infants after I give them their first food in the high chairs, most of the time they get so messy and it annoys me 😂
another fun fact- you can put toddler beds as well as desks, counches etc under bunk beds to save more space!
i actually didn’t know this omg 😭
Video idea: Tiny/micro home that fulfills the mansion baron aspiration!
ouuuh that’s a good challenge!!!
Is that even possible?! Lol
@daniellelavoie9631 I did it. It's a mess of columns, windows, and art and I had to hide some violins in the bushes lol.
maybe you should try using galvanised square steel to expand the room, covering it with eco-friendly wood veneers and securing it with screws borrowed from your aunt so little john can fit his spacious table suitable for dining and studying and storage for various out of season quilts
i hate that i immediately understood this reference
NO WAY THERES A GALVANIZED STEEL REFERENCE HERE. my brain rot has come full circle
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS ONE
Don't forget the mattress little Johnny borrowed from his aunt big enough to fit his family of three.
you missed the high study efficency
since most challenges are usually trying to fit as many sims in small places you should try something new and build like a 10 room mansion for only 1 sim! you run out of so many ideas and the challenge of trying not to reuse items is a challenge in itself!
So basically a proper house for Judith 😂
lilsimsie impossible challenge:
build a microhome for 8 sims without a fake rooms, blue-yellow color scheme
You'd need around 20 tiles just for the beds, 2 for the bathroom and 6 for the kitchen. And then you need space for walking. It's almost impossible
@fund4 32 tiles without cheating is quite hard, but I build a basegame and eco living house directly after the bunk bed update.
I used a 5 tile bathroom with bathtub shower combo, toilet and sink
12 tile kitchen with 3 counters (1 free, 1 sink, 1 microwave) stove, fridge, bg dresser (1½ tiles) and little bin
15 tiles bedroom with 4 bunk beds, 2 are separated with a divider, bc they've directly next to each other
So it's bed, half tile, bed, divider, bed, half tile bed
I ued the rooftop as outside dining and skill building area (gardening, wood working, grill, table for 8)
And without prioritising the exterior
@@fund4 building on a diagonal give you more space per tile
I love how it turned! I'm partial to yellow as well 💛
I feel like you could do this without fake rooms if you put sleeping quarters & maybe a bathroom inside & then have kitchen, dining, & entertainment outside. Like glamping I guess lol
I think maybe next time, you could try doing this challenge without having a sneaky second floor😅 ooorrr you could spin a wheel or a number generator to decide how many sims!
Poor simsie apologizing for the build being blue and yellow when that’s the Tiny Living pack’s main color scheme 😭💙💛
oh no
Feels like a big family vlog in a micro home that finally puts the kids first. It’s refreshing! Also it feels like practically a right of passage for young teens and tweens to have a neon two-toned bedroom, so it works.
Challenge: build an entire house by putting the pre-made rooms together without moving anything. The only touch up you can do is swatches
Bless Simsie when she’s doing the thread up try on, she’s doing all the right things but her face still says “this is so unnatural for me” she’s a very modest girly
jumping over here from the livestream, i love tiny houses so much
yes they're so cute
Yessss same
I had so much hope that she would try it without sneaky "fake" rooms 😢
same :(
Same, but it's literally impossible. The beds alone wouldn't fit.
@@Frenchaboo Well, but that's the challenge 😁 With fake rooms you can have as much space as you want, even a mansion, so the whole concept just loses its point
I was expecting her to, in quotes, "cheat" 😂 it would've been very challenging and fun to watch though if she didn't make a fake room
@@Frenchaboo Definitely doable, though it might look more like a camping cabin/campsite. You can place a public bathroom or bush to save room on a bathroom. Not cute, but doable 😅
I actually get excited for Thredup sponsorships because I love to see what cute clothes you found!
I just want to add that a ton of the clothing waste is from clothing that never sold. Buying used is useful and a good idea, but corporations will always find a way to waste in ways outside of our control.
@@steggopotamusso true, I hate that this fact is often ignored when talking about waste
i learned the hard way that any bathroom or woohoo spots need to be in actual rooms to avoid embarrassment. so often i just make the master bedroom and the bathrooms actual rooms and make the rest fake rooms to make a huge family home that's actually a micro home according to the game
The colours of this build are so fresh and satisfying, this is genuinely one of the most beautiful builds you've ever made to me. The outside is so gorgeous too, I know it's so small but I would love to live here! Not with 7 other people lmao it would turn sensory heaven into sensory hell, but it's so cosy and airy which is such a feat for such a tiny home!
Kayla is so pretty all the outfits she modelled for us really suited her!
Isn’t she adorable 🥰
they should add some galvanised steel, eco friendly wood veneers and some screws from john’s aunt
Not the kids in the kids room being locked in their room (unless they go out the front door) when the Murphy bed is down 😭
In my microhomes, I rarely have more than 4 beds for 8 sims. They don’t all need their own bed. I do outdoor dining/cooking space too.
where do they all sleep at night then?
Two Sims per bed!! I do this
I know it's not supposed to look like it but I really like the shade of blue of the tiles in the bathroom.
I once maid fully functional 8 sims smallest tiny home. all adults, without the sneaky extra room. I would like to see how you would do it.
Pro tip: if you want to make "custom" desks that's how you get them to work, by having the sim sit in the chair then use the computer. I really like using the shelf from eco lifestyle as a desk and just use the small desk from tiny living, size it down and the computer will stay at the right height and then put the shelf underneath it so it looks like a custom desk.
Whats the point on calling it a 32 tiles micro home if you just add as many "rooms" to it as you wish
I love to use ladders to save space - it just means that the toddlers have to sleep downstairs 😋
i love snap’s appearance in the ad
Snap is a paid actress
I would love a mansion thats technically a tiny home because it's all fake rooms
her house shes using for the 100 baby challenge on twitch is pretty huge and also a micro home :D
THE GREEN SHIRT W THE PETER PAN COLLAR IS SO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
Next micro home challenge, of you can have multiple floors of fake rooms: how big of a house can you make while still having it be a tiny home, technically
Kayla you look sooo pretty in all the outfits !!! I've never seen u model those for us before!! Also love your build videos on this channel, it leveled up my sims gameplay so much. Thank you for everything. (greetings from Czech Republic)
I'm very proud of you for using some bright colors in this, instead of the muddy sad beige colors. Embrace the saturation, bright colors bring happiness. Also, thank you so much for the shopping coupon! I did do an order on ThredUP. Loved it!
I’d love to see u do an 8 sim tiny home without the fake rooms for extra space glitch! Maybe by using an outdoor kitchen/dining space? ❤
came here from the stream lol
Same lol
LOLL me too
Samee
Lmao
"Blue suburban in a shirt" 😂 It's so cute though.❤
Kayla! That dress is adorable and it looks fab on you 🥰
Sims AND a haul??? Prolly the only "sponsorship" I didn't fast forward through.
The next challenge is the no beds challenge, aka treehouse, pee bushe, baby mat, park bench, etc,...
I would like to see this shell and floor plan used to create a grunge build for a family of 6. Maybe for an apocalypse challenge. I can imagine it looking boarded up and surrounded with chain link fencing.
This came out so freaking cute. I wanna do a whole save of just tiny and micro homes and trailer parks.
I loved your sneaky tricks, it was creative way to tackle a challenge. 100% the nature of the sims
For 8 sims, I'd do 2 bunkbeds (then have the sims alternate their use of them) and outdoor cooking and dining (although I _do_ sometimes put roofs on columns over those, making them sort of fake room like). Shower + sink + toilet don't take much space, of course. Tiny book stack and a laptop for fun also don't take much space (or a musical instrument that can be shared and usually lives in someone's inventory).
Edit after watching the actual build: ...that being said, my tiny homes end up not looking as nice as yours did due to decisions like the ones stated above... In fact, they don't really look like homes at all; more like sim storage boxes D:
as someone who lives in a tiny house i built irl, i literally HAD to have a full bathtub/bathroom in my house (thats under 260 square feet) so this feels right
Very fond of this video. Challenges without money or pack worries are fun sometimes
What about you create a little space where we can make challenge suggestions? That would be so awesome!!
Simsie has to serve on us real quick before getting started
Am I the only one who uses that zig-zag carpet from spooky stuff???
Yes you are the only one
Soooo impressed you're still uploading rn 🎉🎉🎉
This is fun. Because we are a family of 7 and we live super tight.. One bedroom apartment, the toddlers share the bedroom with us adults and the livingroom is a teen bedroom they share.
Repaintint our bedroom today because the toddlers has grown and are getting a bunkbed, and after that is up, I wont be able to move anything in there, so painting any day later wont work XD
Expand using galvanised square steel and eco friendly wood veneers
simsie that dress looks stunning on you
Snappy admiring you in the dress clip is too cute
An idea a micro tiny home for 1 of every type of SIM. 1 elder, 1 adult, 1 YA, ETC and 1 dog, cat, horse, goat, chicken, llama, robot, etc but 20k budget 🤣😂
the rick cutout and the cats on the bg is just making this video 😍😍😍😍
I loveeddd the yellow front door and yellow window flowers on the white house, very prettyyyy💛 and congrats on 2 mil holy crap girl!!!!
Omg I love Snappy in your try-on shoots 😻
Bestie you look so cute with that dress! ❤
The clothes are fly asf!
it’s not simsie’s fault that the only good swatches in this game are yellow and blue lol
THAT DRESS IS SO CUTE ON U OMG, ATE DEVOURED LEFT NO CRUMBS KAYAK
Fun Fact: You can (and I often do) tuck a money trashcan halfway into a wall/cabinet and it still works just fine. Just something to remember when building in tight spaces :3
I think you should try it without the fake rooms
Love the dress Kayla I don’t wear dresses either but I also like the pattern
Interesting perspective, got me thinking!
SIMSIE I WOULD LOVE IF YOU MADE LIKE A FASHION CHANNEL OR SOMETHING your style is so cool i am so in awe!!!
I am so impressed by this and the build is adorable!
I love the exterior of this!! 💛💛
omg this house is so cute, i''m definitely downloading it later
Love this micro sims home lilsimsie.
Lilsim Sue please make Micro home for 4sims without fake rooms 😂😂😂 i bet you cant do it
You're a natural on camera, keep shining!
That dress looks so good on you!! 🥺
The little poses eats. I luv u girl 😂❤
its hilarious to me that thrifted clothes cost 20$ in us.. like, where i live, the maximum for a thrifted cloth is 8 and it is called expensive, like, why is thrifting so expensive in us??
Capitalism
it’s way cheaper to thrift shop in person, it’s just really expensive on all of the online “thrift shops”
YES LILSIMSIEEEEE, IT LOOKS SO GOOD
That dress looks like it was made for you!!!!!🩷
i'd love to use thredup if they delivered to more countries than just the us
This came out amazing for a micro home. That little wall trick really saved you
I really like this house, it looks cool and spacious
I like this build very much!❤
This build is so good, it made me go play the Sims 4!
Every time a simmer says micro home, and then cheats with the wall trick... so you didn't build a micro home.
Get this girl some galivanted steel and eco friendly wood veneer.
I feel like you didn't exactly do the challenge correctly, since you technically cheated and used fake rooms :/. I would love to see a challenge where you truly use only the limited tiles and no cheats! (aka fake walls and rooms)
you cant fit 8 sims in that space without cheats but shes done real micro home videos
@@royalpeaches7183 Yes you can. The beds would take up almost all of the space, but that's the fun of the challenge!
@@isyoursheepwirelesswhat’s fun about watching her build a box with 8 beds inside?
@@veeisntcool she used blatant clickbait. it's not a micro home, its a small home. sure it's not a huge deal, but it's kinda annoying
Same, here from the stream
THAT DRESS IS GORGEOUS
Coming right from the stream!
I was hoping the toddler/infant room would have been downstairs and the two bunkbed rooms upstairs because I’d assume its nicer for the teens to have more space
That dress looks really cute on you!
it is the cutest, i love it
16:04
The mom/dad can sit there and work, while keeping an eye on the children in the back yard through the window :3
I actually raised a toddler in a micro home without a bathtub. Turns out you can bath them in the sink.
that teens room is stressing me out sm 😭🙏
As someone who is an olympic level thrifter and deal-hunter, paying more than $10 for USED clothes is absolutely outrageous unless it's vintage or super high brand
totally unrelated to the actual video but to the sponsor, that dress looks really pretty on you. I'm a big fan of hollister dresses too I feel like they're so flattering to everyone.
Wow, so cool! You did well.
Snappy making a debut during your styling clips is everything 😂❤
You're so cute, Kayla posing with your new clothes 😍
I love it!
the cats moving around in the background during the ad was amazing timing on their part, they should get a cut of the proceeds
i love when you say percs
